I would like to get whatever we can in trade for him at some point this calendar year. He has always seemed to be overrated to me.

To me, Smith, Duran or Carter is our CF of the future.

Well I hope they get all the looks needed. Like it or not E White is in the mix for a CF job this year too methinks

Yeah I thought it was a little weird as well but if he only faces RHP I think he can be decently valuable.
If he starts the game and they bring in a LHP they need to sub him with a RHB and never let him start vs a lefty.

He had close to an .800 OPS vs RHP last year
And RHP make up the bulk, so hopefully he’s used right.

They see him as a very good defender with speed and a non-stop motor. If he can figure out how to hit you would have the CFer the team has needed for awhile and probably the leadoff man...
