im just saying........cooks was doing well with fuller. Fuller was a top 10 wr........and hes gone, targets targets.......watson does not use his slot very much, and doesnt highly target tight ends, wr's will be targeted.

cooks sucked the first four weeks, then u know what happened in houston, and boom heres cooks......

Since the coaching change.......
Cooks avg
8.14 targets per game....
6 catches per game
83 yards per game
0.43 TD's per game
oh and will fuller and his roughly 7 targets per game are gone......

Landry's

I dont think this is even a discussion.......not to mention the texans throw and the browns run

Cooks... Drop Meyers? But as I said earlier Meyers is basically the entire Pats offense
Cooks is a locked in as a high floor, high upside wr......with a top qb, who will be throwing......hes a start on literally any team, i dont see how hes not at worst a top 15 wr from here out

Cooks has a heck of a lot more upside then Meyers does (Watson vs Newton)

still cook..........all day

dont take my word........

Fantasy pros
"Going back to the time where Bill O'Brien was fired, Cooks has become an integral part of this offense, averaging 8.14 targets per game, including at least five targets in every game. Outside of the wind/rain game against the Browns, he's totaled at least 60 yards in every one of those games. To know that he's done this while Will Fuller has been a WR1, and that Deshaun Watson has failed to throw the ball 40 times in a game is pretty remarkable. But what changes now that Fuller is out for the year? Do teams double Cooks? Do they bracket him? You'd be surprised at how hard it is to do that with a wide receiver who moves around as much as Cooks, who plays 43 percent of his snaps at RWR, 29 percent at LWR, and 28 percent of his snaps in the slot. The Colts haven't been a matchup to flat out attack with wide receivers, as they've allowed the seventh-fewest fantasy points

ROtoballer

"1 hour agoHouston Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks should see increased volume down the stretch in the absence of teammate Will Fuller V, who was suspended for the rest of the season for performance-enhancing drugs. Cooks has averaged 7.1 targets per game this year, though one would expect that number to settle around 10 per game without the presence of Fuller. This is a tough matchup against Indianapolis, a team that has allowed the sixth-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing receivers. Cooks should see plenty of targets, though the efficiency might not be there. Start him as a solid WR2 this week, though he'll have WR1 upside in the fantasy playoffs.--Tim Capurso - RotoBaller"

fan duel

"Cooks is the only player seeing more receiving volume in Houston, having a slight edge with a 22.2% target share. We shouldn't expect him to soak up the entirety of Fuller's volume, but the suspension does mean that Cooks is the clear No. 1 wideout in Houston now, and a significant bump in target share should come with that.

If we look at the lone game in which Fuller saw no targets this season, Cooks turned 8 targets into 5 receptions and 95 yards. In the three games in which Fuller saw 5 or fewer looks, Cooks has averaged 7.3 targets, 3.7 receptions, 67.0 yards and 0.3 touchdowns per game. That translates to 12.4 PPR fantasy points per game.

Now a safe bet for consistent volume on a weekly basis, fantasy managers can feel good about plugging Cooks into their starting lineup just about every week down the stretch."

FantasyPro's Target analysis

"Brandin Cooks also had another solid game, catching all five of his targets for 85 yards, although he failed to get into the end zone. Duke Johnson saw much more production in the receiving game than he had in his prior contests, catching three of his four targets for 43 yards and a score. With Fuller suspended for the rest of the regular season, Cooks should be in your lineup every single week, as he’s been remarkably consistent and will benefit from the target void left by Fuller."

Meh..numbers favor Cooks, common sense says Cooks. My gut says, every time you bank on Cooks, you F yourself in the A, so I'm still saying Landry

With my fantasy luck this always is the case. Insert any player instead of Cooks as well

I'm trying for both

what's your IDP scoring like?
if it is heavy on tackles, check to see if Tyrell Adams is still available for Houston. He's been an IDP stud since Benardrick McKinney went on IR, just had a monster game against the lions on thanksgiving, so might've been scooped up already. I just think there should be a higher floor play than The Honey Badger, but might not be based on your scoring settings.
