IN the 5-th -7th round and UDFA you are hoping to find a guy who can make roster and contribute.

If you get a guy who comes in and takes a starting role, you are pleasantly surprised.

If you are drafting a guy in the 7th round as a day one starter..... your lack of planning disturbs me.

I honestly think Redskins fans were spoiled by potential and to a degree production at the TE position.

We went from Cooley to Davis(Fred) to Reed/Davis(Vernon) and now we have Sprinkle.

Sprinkles are great on donuts, but I think he has not excited us as a TE because.. y'all mf'rs is spoiled at this point.

Draft has to end, but if it holds to usual time frame, we should start hearing rumors by around 9 -10 PM and I think official signings can happen tomorrow unless they changed that in the new CBA too

For me late rounds are about risks, athleticism, injury or behavior.

As for the TEs, why would any UDFA not come here if they can. If I am looking for a job, I go where there is no competition.

I guess they have other options in mind - otherwise they would have picked at TE in the 7th round. It's not like the 2 guys they picked in the 7th have much chance of ever contributing. The Bears have 10 TE's on their roster now - maybe there's an opportunity to get one of their's for free.
