I am not entirely defending him. I think he needs to do better. I want him to do better. But I, unlike you, don't think he's far off from doing so.

But you've said for 5 years in a row he's not far from turning everything around. I guess if you keep saying that every year sooner or later it will come true.

And like I've said countless times he's a good coach. But he's not the great mastermind you think he is. Otherwise his record vs. ranked teams, his record in bowl games & his record vs. Ohio State would be better.

I judge all coaches by their resume. You on the other hand judge JH by what you hope he does & not what he's actually done.

I've said I don't know when it will happen but I'm still confident it will. We saw progress in the offense this year, and regression in the defense. The key will be continuing the offensive improvement and solidifying that (which would make sense in year 2 of a system) but also to fix some of the crucial defensive problems that have plagued us the last couple of years.

Now be honest in answering this. Do you still think JH is an elite CFB coach?

interior DL has been a problem the last two years and it doesn't figure to improve significantly next year. hopefully Hinton can step up.

I might have argued that early on, but I don't think I've said Harbaugh was an elite CFB head coach since maybe before he got here or in the first couple seasons. If I'm remembering my comments for consistency, I believe I've argued he's a great college coach; one of the best 10-20 in the game. Which I still say he is.

Hinton and Smith have to work out, they're basically banking everything on those two.

This is hilarious. There's aren't 10 to 20 great college coaches right now. Just another example of your nonstop homerism. The list of current great CFB coaches starts with Saban & ends with Dabo. You really don't understand what having a complete CFB coaching resume is. So you arguing he's a great coach means you think he's the same calaber of coach as those two. Homers will always be homers.

JH is a good coach. Not a great coach.

Ummm. No they wouldn't. Bo Pelini had 7 years to win a CCG at Nebraska and couldn't get it done.

I could see Michigan going after Bo Pelini though.

After all........... Bo Pelini >>> Jim Harbaugh

That is indisputable.

I think what you meant to say is — Bo Pelini wouldn’t go back to Nebraska.

The program is now a bottom feeder in one of the weakest divisions in CFB. And Scott Frost has 9 wins in 2 years?!? But hey — he is undefeated in bowl games at Nebraska

This is a mind boggling stat about UofM football. After their loss to Bama it's the first time they lost back to back bowl games by double digits.

See I don't always look for the worst in that program. But add this fact to JH's list of accomplishments since returning to ann arbor.

Harbaugh looks like Will Ferrell doing Harry Caray as the U of M coach...

Remember when you said all JH needs is to get his recruits in ann arbor to succeed? Well the same thing applies to Frost.

So you're saying Michigan shouldn't fire Harbaugh because it only gets worse from here?

Saban is an elite college coach. Urban is an elite college coach. Brian Kelly is an example of a great college coach.

Bo Pelini wouldn't be welcome back at Nebraska, idiot.

Scott Frost has CFB Division and Conference Titles.
Scott Frost has a NY6 Bowl win.

Harbaugh has NONE of the above.
