Southern Miss 6-3
NM State 0-9
S. Carolina 4-6
Ole Miss 4-6
Texas A&M 6-3
Tennessee 5-5
Arkansas 2-8

Up next for them is 4-5 Mississippi State and 3-7 Western Carolina before their season finale against Auburn (their final hope for one decent win all season).

Sorry but that team barely deserves the top 10, much less the top 4.

And as stated, you are using a flawed system(your words) to do the comparison. So isnt your review of facts a bit subjective as well. You are comparing a UCF team that arguably was a good team in a specific year(this decades Boise St.) yet their ranking was done by same said flawed system, as we every team that was rated by same said flawed system. Then you compare them to a team two years later that is being rated in same said flawed system as well as all teams they played were rated in same said flawed system. See the flaws in your logic yet?

I'm not certain I'm understanding your exact point but I use a variety of stats outside the poll's rankings and derived from them to demonstrate that polls are flawed. Are there are other options? You have one team that has a better record and SOS and more ranked wins one year ranked only 12th at its highest point while another is still in the top 4. Of course, less could get a higher ranking in a different year based on what everyone else does but eight spots? Beyond that, UCF even being considered in 2017 was treated as a joke while Alabama this year is treated as a reasonable outcome and all of it is based on teams getting credit for things beyond this year's game results.

:pound: I was thinking the same thing

If A&M isnt ranked this week, they will be ranked after next week, after they beat a garbage South Carolina team. Gotta take that last chance to prop them up before they finish the season losing badly to UGA and LSU

How's that Indiana win working out for you. Did you guys petition the B1G office for their schedule, or did it just work out that way "naturally". they got 7 wins...but the opponents they've beaten are 17-49. If they played their schedule from last year this year, they would have 5 losses already...Nor would they be ranked with Texas A&M's schedule. Oh well, they get to pretend they are good for one more week anyways.[/QUOTE]

Alabama's still a very good team but I wonder if their reputation is what's keeping them ranked so high.

Who cares about A&Ms strength of schedule? They lose to anyone with a pulse.

SEC teams always get propped up based on who they lose to, which is hilarious.

Funny thing is literally nobody is talking up Indiana, Bama fans and SEC homers sure will swear that Texas A&M is "actually a good team" though......which everyone without SEC glasses knows is absolutely false.

Indiana is hot garbage. Nothing about either team except blind homerism would suggest that Ohio State beat Texas A&M by 41.

Speaking of pulse did I mention that Indiana has lost to anyone with a winning record by a combined score of 51-10....

....their other loss was to 4-5 Michigan St

Who has Indiana beat...17-49...

Dodging the questions, basically admitting what ive been saying. A&M beats no one then gets talked up solely based on who theyve lost to.

Texas A&M

Texas State - a 3-6 Sun Belt team
Arkansas - very awful team, 2-8
Ole Miss - no quite as awful as Arkansas, but still awful - 4-6
Miss State - about the same as Ole Miss - 4-5
Texas San Antonio - a 4-5 CUSA team

17-30 record of FBS teams

other win came against Lamar, who is a 4-6 FCS team (Lol)

So Texas A&M has the exact same # of wins as Indiana against teams with winning records, but keep telling us that they are "actually good"
