His contract is up after 2020 and at this point I don't think the Panthers would want to sink a bunch of money into him with the past 3 years of injury history.
Wouldn't it be interesting to see how he would do in New England under Lord Bill's tutelage?

Nice way to transition the QB position and stow Cam away until the end of the season.

I bet the Bears, Jets, Giants, Bengals, Titans, Dolphins, Jaguars, etc. would give Cam a serious look-see in the off season.

I can't imagine there not being a market for him, especially for a team like the Bears who has a coach likely on the hot seat and a team built to win now.

But this also was the right move. Can't move on from Allen at this point.
