With the exception of the strength of schedule yes the Patriots numbers are better but that strength of schedule does inflate numbers a bit. I'm also not saying that the 49ers have played a hard schedule but to this point as amazing as it is the Patriots have had an easier one.

It is amazing to think that the teams who have had the 2 easiest schedules have one more win than teams who have played much harder schedules

Honestly right now I would have the Saints at #1 overall regardless of the undefeated teams. What they pulled off with a back up quarterback and still handled business is remarkable. They are the scariest team in the league right at this moment.

Defence scoring for the Pats only puts them at a winning record I think in games played.

before sunday they would have been 4-2-1 if the offense never scored a pt.
