I don't think Trubisky will be a franchise player or game changer or whatever, and I don't know if that specific Bears fan thinks MT's light will turn on soon.....some players come in and rip it up, and some guys take a couple of years. Perhaps they're giving him a third year to figure it out, and luckily for them, the next years draft is QB friendly....so if need be, they can make a move to get one.
yeah i know, and agree. but man that D is there to win now. Its not gonna stay together forever

I very well can be wrong, but I still don't think he'll be a top half QB

I don't either, but I think the Bears in this case need to give him at least a few years from draftpoint to make that decision.

I agree that they are set at defense and the QB (offense) is holding them back. It's just the way it worked out though. It's all irrelevant though, since the Cards had the #1 pick and they were intent on taking Murray.

right. But like now, at the trade deadline, they COULD make a move, and if tehy did, they may be favorites........

Trade for?
make a move for cam, ryan, foles, eli, anyone whose better than trubs right now........you follow advanced metrics, last year and through this year, hes awful. Yeah eli, and cam have been better. Hell I think flacco would help them, mariota has been better as well, and you know hes available.

Sure...a lot of those guys may be better, but Trubisky is still under his rookie deal, and some of those guys you're suggesting are $20M per year, with Ryan at $30M+. To get one of those guys, the Bears may have to rip their defense apart, or give away some serious draft capitol.

Their best case scenario right now, is to ride out Trubisky and possibly look to next years draft if they so choose.

The Bears already have a very good defense with a question mark at QB. Murray on this team and they wouldn't be in 3rd place.
I’d still take a top 5 DE/OLB and what looks to be a top talent over a middle of the pack QB. Bosa could be the best at his craft at some point. The bears could find a good qb in FA or at later draft spots.

Sure...but that doesn't mean you simply take a QB just because.....the franchise actually has to LIKE the guy their picking.
Of course not.

I am of the opinion Murray would get them closer to a SB than Bosa would.

I don’t see him being anything special. He might be improving, but next year defenses will adjust and we will see if he improves or regresses.
Adjust to what?

He has a top notch arm, he is elusive and he is a pass first QB. Aside from his height, he has every tool a top-notch quarterback needs. And, he has excellent awareness.

Like they have been so good at it in the past. You are such a dumb shit.

This is too easy.
Meh, the new GM knows what he’s doing. Trubisky was one of the few big busts he’s been a part of. It’s frustrating, but it’s stupid to pass up a generational talent in bosa fora middle of the pack qb.

Sure. We will see how he does next year.
