His numbers are indefensible at this point.

My plan, fire harbaugh. Pay Nick Saban 20 million dollars a year to come.

Be sad in 4 years when the curse of Michigan football eats him alive.

Start over again.

Why would Saban come to Michigan? Honest answer.

West Virginia guy who coached Sparty for 6 years. However, the most obvious answer is $20 million/year.

Right, not.

Do you think the Michigan brand is still what Michigan fans think it is?

I think your obsession with them proves that even the enemies of Michigan are obsessed with the Michigan brand.

Because they are the winningest program in NCAA history??

But seriously...Saban isn't leaving Bama for anything but retirement (or a different role at the school).

Shutup stupid....y'all thought y'all had won something with that hire...it didn't pan out so now eat crow motherfucker!

Wow...you are a prickly Pete. You care to back it up with facts, or is this kind of a "feelings" thing for you?

Should have never fired Rich Rod.

The one thing I liked about the Rich Rod hire was that Michigan stuck their necks out to get away from the "Michigan Man" hiring process for all head coaches. The problem was that they got the wrong guy to risk it on. Now Michigan is likely to be too scared to go outside the "Michigan Man" process again.

My fear is that if Harbaugh leaves, they do a "knee jerk" reaction and hire Les Miles. I'd rather see Michigan "swing and miss" on some up and coming young coaches, than to spend time rehashing another old coach. Unless you can get a BIG name to come to Michigan (by big I mean a guy like Saban, Dabo, Pete Carroll, etc.), try to find a guy that seems to be the next big name. They aren't getting any of the guys above, nor do I think they could get a big name right now, so be ready to swing and miss on a few up and comers in the coaching world.

Michigan has proven they are a big enough brand to survive the greater part of two decades of futility, so a few strikeouts on some coaches isn't going to change that. If they get the right coach, they can be back to a top 10 program again. With all the talent they currently have, I don't think it would take long for the right coach to turn things around.

I'm not anti or obsessed with Michigan. I enjoy watching football and going to Michigan stadium or any other to watch it being played.

I more laugh with you about your team with all the Harbaugh stuff going on. At least the ones that are not homers.

Agree about Saban not going to Michigan.

And only Michigan fans carry about wins from 100+ years ago. It is the fall back of a Michigan fan when they lose.

Harbaugh and those hes hired as assistants have all failed majorly. Player development seems to be near non existent (especially on offense)

Their 2016 and 2017 recruiting classes which were his best have largely been busts minus a few players here and there. The 2018 class was a disaster and the 2019 was meh, so I dont foresee it getting better anytime soon.

I dont think Michigan is going to be able to draw a Meyer or Saban type, they are going to have to hit it big with a current assistant or coach from a smaller program. Even then Harbaugh would be leaving not a great platform to build on.

I think the Michigan brand is at a turning point and if they get rid of Harbaugh any time soon, the brand takes a dive IMO.

Hiring Miles would put them back even further. He could probably turn out some 9 win seasons, but at this point of his career hes not a national powerhouse caliber coach. Might as well keep Harbaugh.
