With Paul George out for six weeks, The Clippers just might have a problem

@Shanemansj13 @dtgold88 and all the other REAL Cleveland fans out there--- how 'bout that Tribe?

11 1/2 down to the Twins--- now tied for first place.

Lindor had no spring training and missed the first month of the season
Jose Ramirez with a terrible terrible slump to start the season
Clevinger with a long term injury
Kluber with an even longer term injury
Carrasco diagnosed with cancer
Bauer- traded

plenty of other injuries as well------

and they really fought their way back. It has been a helluva team effort- esp. considering Carrasco and Kluber- 2 of the better pitchers in the American League have basically not even contributed.

Gotta say- its been a helluva fun last couple months---- and thats just leading into Browns season.

Its pretty nice to have a good Indians and a Browns team with this much excitement while the Cavs go through their rebuild.

So you're saying it's fun to win games and be competitive?

nah, I heard sucking and getting higher draft picks was the way to go...

Indians fans should be excited.
Browns fans enter season with, on paper, best team they’ve had forever.
Cavs fans spinning they like losing is nonsense. Its one thing to accept it, but its never a wanted choice IMO.

Amen to that last comment. Love the Cavs (and do like watching bball more than baseball) but would rather see Browns and Indians win than the Cavs (or OSU football)

Helluva run by them no doubt. Tough pitching matchups tonight and tomorrow...a split would be just fine.

Not sure if you were aware, but baseball and basketball are a little different. Tanking can work in baseball (ask the Astros) but not likely 1 guy can turn a bad team into a great one in one season.

Not sure anyone said they prefer to lose than be a title contender. Just get to the playoffs in baseball and you have a shot. You think many teams seeded 5-8 have much of a chance in the NBA (and please don't pull out random examples that had strange circumstances)?

Totally agree that seeding is tons less meaningless in baseball.
Still doesn’t change the fact that if Im invested in a team for 7 months I’d rather see them win then lose as often as possible.

To add ‘title contender’ as a prerequisite is lame. How often is that actually realistic?

Heading to the Tribe/Yanks game next Friday

Should be fun.

AL playoffs shaping up to be really interesting. All 4 teams who make it will be really really good unlike the NL
