I’m top tier, dammit!

And fuck anyone who disagrees.

:D

There are some great Bama fans but I saw a lot of UAB hats in Tide country during the Shula era.

I was born at UAB, so I give the Blazers some love.

Btw, I loved Shula as a player. As a coach? Not so much...

IMHO Shula was not a good coach but he got Bama through death penalty days. I give him credit for that especially when the boosters were not under control. I give UAB all kinds of love for both the school and hospital.

No doubt he was dealt a handful of crap.

My biggest knocks on him were the lack of discipline and conditioning.

And he was not experienced enough to have any game management skills. IMHO he was like the Curry hire, a placeholder. Curry should not have been fired when he was though.

So, are you saying that if you didn't attend school there, you are a "tshirt bandwagoner?" :noidea:

That is the official definition. There a few exceptions like if you are a professor or president of the school or your SO family member went to the school and you didn’t go to any school.

The worse thing you can do on earth is betrayal. Supporting a different school than your own is betrayal.

I believe Joab really wanted Curry long-term, but when he left it didn’t help.

Curry was offered an extension, but the terms had no real perks. He could’ve stayed, but with the lack of support from the AD it was better for both parties that he left.

And that was after a 10-1 season and a finish in the top five, post bowl season polls. His two great sins was losing the Iron Bowl three years in a row and not being tied to the Bear. He was IMHO just a buffer used to break some of Bear's traditions that the purists would not have done.

So, unless you went to school there or a family member went there, you are a bandwagon fan? That would suggest that you can't be a college football fan until you're 18, if you don't have alum in the family.

That's nonsense!

Do you understand the concept of Stolen Valor?

Same thing that tshirt bandwagoners are doing.

What is worse is some like to pretend that are a fan of one school when they went to another school. That's like rooting for Russia in the Olympics when you're an American.

These are UCFundamental concepts of loyalty and honor.

Wrong again.

When you grow up pulling for a team your loyalty doesn't change because you got offered a scholly to another school or accepted to another school because they carry your major. You may very well root for 2 teams at that point, but your loyalty isn't going to change. Your premise is flawed.

That's like pretending to date a girl you never accepted you. Creepy AF.

Do you live in reality? To even question what a tshirt bandwagoner is to question what a traitor is by definition. They are the same thing in UCFact.

I get it now. You don't understand family, loyalty, tradition, or "roots." A Johnny come lately, if you will.

I think you are a lunatic troll that just wants attention. But there are some parts of this post that I do agree with.

I think it needs to be stated that unless your family has some connection or it’s the closest school to you or you went there. There are plenty of new Alabama fans and probably Clemson too that 10 years ago weren’t fans. That’s bullshit. Also it’s bullshit if you grew up no where near the school, have no connection yet still root for them because they are good. Where’d all the Boise and Oregon Fans go?

^^^ This I get. It's the "You didn't go to school there, therefore you are bandwagon" that ruffles my feathers.

That’s fair criticism. Its terrible logic to think one has to be an alum to not be a bandwagon. I agree with you there.
