Calling ND fans delusional had some merit a while ago, but the steady stream of mediocrity has tempered expectations.

Most ND fans believe the program is healthy and can and should compete for playoff berths.

Very few actually believe their on the same tier as Alabama or Clemson. There’s a clear talent gap.
