3.5 games behind detroit and the nets...with the nets crazy schedule it is not out of the realm of possibility of moving up....not likely, but it sure would be nice to get the Pacers in the first round then the Bucks or Raptors.

Which team are you talking about?

Doesn't matter he was pushed into her?

I think we all agree there MIGHT have been a better way out of this, but who can know without being there. Kick should have been avoided, but that alone should not be a reason not to work again.

To me, the best way out is not be in these situations in the first place. Hopefully, he has learned his lesson. If not, he'll do something else and will be released. If he has, great.

Pushed into her? Yes. But he still kicked her while she way trying to get up. Let's see you defend that action of his. He should have walked away instead of kicking her. And I'm not spending all day going back & forth w/ you again on this topic. Nothing you can say will change my mind.

You don't have as much of an issue w/ Hunt's actions as I do. Which is fine. But stop trying to defend him for what he did.

your Heat right? 8th spot right now, if they get up to 6 (over the Pistons and Nets) and run into the Pacers, that would be a lot better than the Celtics or Raptors...might give them at least a shot.

obviously a shitty thing to do, but just like to make sure the proper labels are attached.
Agreed, and I also think we need to be aware (and not saying you are not) there are levels of assault. None are a good thing, but being pushed into a woman and lightly kicking her not the same as punching her in the face and knocking her out.

SPURS dont seem to want to lose at home.
They have handled the Bucks, Raptors, Warriors, Nuggets, Blazers, Thunders, Celts, 76ers, Utah all relatively easily.

But, they suck on the road.
Losses to Knicks, Bulls, Suns, Orlando, etc..

They seem destined to give some high seed a very grueling 7 game series in the first round trading home wins.
Although Derick White has played most of the home games, and missed a bunch of the road games as well.
I cannot see them having much chance against GS, but if they played Denver? I might lean to SA.

They won't get to 6th. Schedule is pretty bad.

I will feel decent about being 8th if they beat the Bucks this Friday.

My guess is Pistons end up 6th, Nets 7th, and Miami 8th

Yeah, the problem for him though, regardless of the circumstances or how weak the kick was, it just can't happen.

With all of the issues around the NFL over players abusing women and the NFL cracking down on it like they are...he's got to know better.
No doubt about that...but doesn't look like something that should end his career. If he does it again or if the other allegations are far worse? Different story.

I thought someone said it was a girlfriend. If that is the case, then it is domestic abuse. If she wasnt then you're right
Not only not a GF, but the woman was not even invited back with them and was told to leave by many people.

still could have been handled better, no doubt.

Anytime the Warriors lose it is because they're bored or someone is hurt lmao

Doesn't hurt to give credit to give the opponent credit once in a blue
At least now if they lose in the playoffs they can say Durant was not 100%

I kid....I kid.

I read the entire story though, they asked her to leave when she declined Hunts friend. She refused to leave after they out her out of the apartment. Smart thing to have done would have been to call the police for tresspassibg
But calling police automatically makes it a story. Wondering if at that point they still hoped to keep it a nonevent.

Lonzo's a decent player. But at the #2 pick and the hype that came with him (most from his dad), it's fair to say that he's been a disappointment in his first 2 years. That, and his inability to stay healthy. He's not a scrub, but at the #2 pick, you should be playing close to an all star level.

Of course, he's a finished product after 2 years. Nothing more to see here.

You're saying this because he signed with the Browns....if he hadn't......you'd be crucifying him for it.
Can't speak for Wiggy, but I thought the situation was worse BEFORE I saw the tape. Bad look, but not as bad as I thought it would be.

Certainly not something for which he should never work again.

Not really defending his actions as much as saying they were not actions for which I think he should never work again.

Ball is eventually going to be a solid NBA player, but he is not nearly worth the #2 pick, especially when you have guys who look like true franchise players in Tatum and Fox that went right behind him.

plus, talent does not mean anything if you cannot stay on the court. As they say, availability is the best ability.

I must be the only one not blown away by Tatum. He was practically a no-show vs the Lakers on Saturday. Fox has been the better scorer to date.

oh of course he can improve and i am sure he will

Chauncey Billups bounced around for quite a while before he established himsefl as one of the best in the biz.

I think we are saying based upon what we have seen thus far.

It was his shooting hand, wasn't it? Never mind. same effect even if his guiding hand.

Tatum has, if not taken a step back, surely has not gone on to be this amazing player this year.

I think we all saw Tatum kick ass ina few playoff games, and with his athleticism i think its clear that between his performance and his talent that he is going to be a good one,

but i agree, i think tatum has , maybe not taken a step back this year, but certainly does not look like the guy that was, if not dominant in the playoffs, certainly had some great performances.

his ball handling is really subpar honestly.
