cant argue there, but you honestly have very little room talk:suds:

I have plenty of room to talk. I'm very smart, and I come across as such. And you know this! How dare you!

Seahawks Win Total Breakdown | Seahawks Pick Six Podcast Preview

2018 Over/Under Win Total 8

they went two games over, had a terrible draft , and lost in the first game of the playoffs with a terrible gameplan, sorrsy not coach of the year

You really feel the need to make it clear that you don't want Carroll mentioned in the COY talk. I'm Not sure why. I guess you just don't like him or something. But he's been in the conversation for COY for the past couple weeks whether you like it or not. He won't win because he's probably in third place, but to pretend that he shouldn't be mentioned in that category for the job he's done is just weird to me. Like you're taking it personal or something.

no i just dont think that a team that was projected to be 8-8 and made the playoffs should be lauded as a huge accomplishment and this magical coaching job

:suds: Not accusing you of making excuses, just giving my view of the refs calls.
It's hard to blame the refs when the Seahawks had one penalty for 5 yards in the first 3 quarters. Lockett pushes off every time the ball comes his way. There was a punt return TD called back that was ticky tac. None of that would have cost Dallas the game had they lost, Russell Wilson would have been the reason. Dallas dominated both lines of scrimmage, the better team simply won a good game

He doesn't fucking deserve it. This season was good Pete and bad Pete wrapped up in one! Where is this franchise going as far as Wilson goes? If you're going to get to the promised land then you need a stud QB taking you there. This was the playoffs. Where's the dynamic play calling? It was 2 runs getting stuffed and a desperation 3rd and long the entire fucking game. If this is how it's going to go then just trade him because if that's the production you want out of a QB then it doesn't justify a 25 mill+ cap hit.

How many projected them to be .500? I'm not trying to be a dick but I read as much preseason projections as anyone and I literally don't remember many saying we'd better than 7 wins, and a few had us doing way worse. But don't take my word for it. Check out all the articles written over the past 3 or 4 weeks talking about COY candidates. Almost all of them mention Carroll's name, but say he won't win.

A whole 4? Like all the fingers on one hand, that many? That does seem like an awful lot of people so maybe Seahawk fans are whining about the refs.

You only have 4 fingers on your hands?

I never said he deserves it. I said he deserves to be mentioned in the conversation for it. Almost nobody expected us in the playoffs this year. We had a great season that wasn't expected in a rebuild year. Tonight's game plan was basically the same plan that we used all year to get to the playoffs. The only difference tonight was that Dallas played a lights out defensive game and stuffed our run all night. Rather than blame our coaches I think it's worthwhile to give credit to the Dallas D for executing a great game plan against our strong suit, which is running. Wilson actually ended up having a pretty typical Wilson game stat wise. It was just the Dallas run D that killed us. So give them their due respect. They earned it tonight.

As a Seahawks fan, the ref calls were fine. There was some blatant offensive holds that Seattle got away with (well both sides but whatever) as well...

Wright sucked it got called, but hey - is what it is (there was ticky tack stuff going both ways). Missing a facemask while the QB is falling in a pile happens. And Wright's INT could've been called back too which was a HUGE game impact. In fact I'd say Seattle had two of the biggest calls in the punt return TD and INT go their way. Even after the DPI Seattle let them storm down the field. It wasn't some 50 yard PI.

End of day, Seattle got dominated mostly the whole game. The last TD was effectively in garbage time (no excuse still for Dallas) but outside of that it took a couple miracle throws to even get Seattle in position one of which came on 4th down. They can thank Wilson with some amazing Wilson plays for keeping them actually in it and covering the spread.

The refs are not to blame here. The lackluster playcalling, mental mistakes on the offensive possession with unnecessary + holding, and some defensive blunders on some big runs were the problem here along with the GLARING lack of run D which has been there ALL SEASON (we were 3rd worst in the league on YPC - or tied 3rd worst, whatever).

As much as I love you guys (Seahawks posters), stop. Get over the officiating and stop mentioning it. It's not what caused us to lose.
