Agree, but his commitment to the run on 1st and 2nd down, down 10 with 5 minutes in the game is his fault.
No. I am fully convinced that he got a call from Marinelli and was shared his ancient wisdom.

JBC needs to be canned immediately
Patricia is a bafoon. Nice onside kick with nearly 3 minutes left and 3 TO's. Nice call coach!
Picked the Ions to win 3 before the season began, so with 4 W's, they have over played this year. Guess looking back, Jim Caldwell wasn't so bad after all.
I will admit he did better today. A little more creativity. Still not enough. 3rd and 14 and calls a 3 yd pass. Also a draw on 3rd and a million. Too many stupid calls still but at least there was some innovation today.
That was pretty stupid. And they didnt even try to disguise it. I liked the first onside kick call though. Martin just messed it up.
Overall it was not terrible. Another late turnover by Stafford killed it. I understand it was a missed block but that is still no excuse to fumble. He cant help the sack but the fumble is on him.
Defense has gotten better. Gap containment was good. Only 2 plays that hurt. 1 the Rams got away holding snacks on Gurleys 1st TD. The other was our 17 million dollar invisible man falling down on that late Gurley run where he refused to score.
O-line still needs work. Probably will be swapping some players out on the right side.
Same as they were wins the division.Yes, Yes he was. No chance of the team getting any better then they were. They were actually getting worse.
Same as they were wins the division.
Worse than they were, isn't any fun to watch. It's awful.
You cant change a culture in 1 year.
Same as they were wins the division.
Funny shit.
Hey I missed the end of the game but I heard Suh got a PF for hitting Stafford late.. was it bad?

Caldwell gets you to 9-7 maybe. Good shot at Wildcard this season.
But hell, let's keep bitching and screaming to replace everybody - year after year after year. After year after year...
If Lions' ownership followed these game threads to the letter, and got rid of everyone the posters said too....there would be no coaching staff and only a 20 man roster when the gun goes off to end the game.
Was that the play call or did Stafford check to it?
