There will always be someone to blame......
the "new" evidence was a roman sword that was supposedly found out in the water around the island that ended up being a reproduction.
The whole reason they focus on 10X is they believe its a back door to get into the money pit and they think they can get in without the booby traps. This diver did a great job, got past a drill bar in the 27" walked around, kicked up debris, never once walked into a wooden post ended up going in what they thought was a tunnel. I am pretty sure its what most natural wells look like, a tunnel going into a pool where most people just put a pump to get drinking water. What the diver needed to do was lose his air, use that small tank he had on and swim up that tunnel farther.
Simple questions, is that fresh or salt water? If he felt a current in there, which way, how will they pump it out. How will they get down there when they pump it out, another ladder? If its feasible to pump it out, why not just pump it out so clear water gets in there so they can see when they send a diver?
I get the freeze the ground and dig operation, but I do not think they are 100% convinced they know exactly where the money pit is. This last episode with the gold looking object and 20 feet of clearance might verify where this multi million dollar operation would happen. I just think they would be money ahead building a structure and doing this in the winter.
