Abby Wexner wanted him fired; Fischer (ala` Fischer College of Business) wanted a year long suspension. Drake wanted a suspension to send a message; Most everyone else was advocating "time served".

The majority could have forced their position but with Wexner threatening to pull funds, they couldn't take the risk.

Am I the only one who can’t wait for the first press conference when he gets bombarded with questions about deleting texts messages?

Or for some reporter with a lot of time on their hands to try and use the FOI act to have his school issued phone subpoena’d to run the forensic software to retrieve the deleted texts.

I miss the circus atmosphere surrounding this topic. We need more entertainment!! At least until Saturday

If the university really wanted those texts they could easily get them. Deleting them doesn’t wipe them from existence. But they want nothing to do with those, they just want to pretend everything is ok and clean.

The media is relentless. OSU should have released the report with the findings before he did a press conference and let him get it done and over with now.

I wouldn’t be surprised if OSU doesn’t even make him available to speak to the outside press. (I’m not sure if it is mandatory of coaches or not?)
