I recently had some random NBA thoughts. Who would be your all time starting 5 for these categories?

-best team under 6 feet tall
-best team over 7 feet tall
-biggest busts of all time (don't mention any KardASSians just cause 1 of 'em gots Tristan's balls in a jar)
-all time knuckleheads (Draymond gots a spot here!)
-all hair-do team (lack of hair/combo-overs count)
-worst dressers

Rudy seems to forget that when the Raptors traded him Demar Derozan was scoring 17 PPG and the team was tanking; he scored 24 PPG and the team won the division once he was gone lol. Spurs gonna be dumping his ass on Atlanta by December book it.

Yeah, in California, we pretty much just call summer "fire season".

My daughter called from Florida a few days ago asking if we're ok and saying that it looks like the entire state is on fire.

A lot of this could be prevented, but the environmentalist wack jobs out here own the state legislature and won't allow Cal-Fire to do the controlled burns that they used to do years ago.

The controlled burns were used to get rid of the excessive brush, etc. that is burning now and feeding the fires.
Trump thinks the water shortage is the reason for this....

He's not wrong. It's really a combination of prolonged drought conditions (water shortage) and lack of controlled burns.

The drought/water shortage is what dries out the brush so that it is much easier to ignite.

Remember all that rain we got in 2017 or was it 2016?

It caused a lot of vegetation growth. We went right back into drought after that. So all of that vegetation dried out and plays a big part in what we are seeing now.

So while it gave us a lot of much needed water...it also set up conditions for the current fires. Proverbial double edged sword.

Controlled burns would remove a good portion of the overgrown brush. But because of the drought, we would still have dangerous fire conditions. The difference is, they wouldn't get out of control so quickly or burn as long.

BS.

I'm 46 and these summer fires have ALWAYS been a problem. Even when there wasn't a water shortage.

I'm 56 and can remember when they weren't. Cal-Fire hasn't been allowed to do controlled burns for many years. Probably since before you were old enough to even know there was such a thing as controlled burns.

I know you hate Trump, but there's no need to deny fire science just to try to make him look like he's wrong. I swear, if he said the earth is round, you'd join Kyrie and say it's flat.

Whether you like it or not, he's not wrong. The water shortage does play a significant role for the reasons I explained. It's never just one thing that feeds/causes these fires.

Damn......some of those would be fun.

My favorite is the all knucklehead team.

Pg- Arenas

Sg - Jr. Rider

Sf - Ron Arrest

Pf- Barkley

Center- Lambieer.

Some of these guys had legal issues. But, none were huge piles of shit Shit like Crittendon or Jayson Williams.

Those two make the all dirtbag HOF with Rae Carruth.

Ps. I was tempted to put White Chocolate at the point. But, Arenas was a bigger turd and I loved Jason Williams.

Yeah.

Draymond wasn't even the 2nd biggest knucklehead on his own team last year. Hard for him to make an alltime list, IMO.

I put Draymond in the Rodman category. Dude does some ridiculous stuff, some stupid stuff, but the vast majority of his moves are calculated and with purpose. I do think the flailing was semi-accidental, but he seems to have moved past that.

Agree.

People seem to forget, or are to young to remember, Mahorn, Lambieer.....Shit, the entire Bad Boy Pistons roster, Bruce Bowen, Ricky Davis, Oakley, Kevin Garnett,Robert Horry, Karl Malone and the dirtiest school boy looking Dude ever, John Stockton were goonish on occasion.

Draymond is just one of many. He gets way more attention for it because all these guys are friends first, and competitors second, and he's not.

Don't get me wrong, I hate Draymond.

But, he's all bark.

He's the happy medium between Rodman and Derrick Coleman.

......In skill and demeanor.

Coleman was so fucking petulant.
