It is ignorant to think that Meyer was so much as put on leave for the actions of an assistant coach. It is Meyer's own inability to manage to situation that has him in trouble. Had he fired Smith after the 2015 incident, none of this would be happening now. THAT's why Meyer is being scrutinized.

And deserved to be fired and face further consequences.But as far as the texts McMurohy reported. Anyone can change s name in their contacts. Without a number it holds no weight in court. There are no time stamps on the screen shot. You would need more of the actual conversation to be able to put it in context. Otherwise its up to interpretion. And that’s assuming there aren’t deleted texts in the screenshot. Which can change the entire dynamic of a text.One of many reasons I wouldnt jump to conclusions with Meyers.
