That soumd you hear is my heart breaking.
If this shit keeps up with the Lakers....I may just become a Knicks fan.
If the Sixers were off the board last night at least therewell, better than nothing i guess.
thats what im saying- do you get DeRozan to attract LeBron? Is it worth the risk? Hes an LA guy- would be a big time scorer- is still young, etc.
LONG term deal though. He is one of the guys you will ride and die with if you trade for him.
if the Lakers want to get LeBron they better do it this offseason...i sitll think its over 90% he is in LA.....but if the Cavs can retain him on another 1 and 1- after this year Hill and Smith are gone as expiring....if they oculd find a taker for Clarkson and then stretch Thompson they could have a ton of cap room themselves next year.
Magic better be offering THE HOUSE THE KITCHEN SINK THE CAR, THE BABY AND THE OLD BABY CLOTHES for Kawhi right now.
getting LeBron to "say what he thinks" to mangement and to go get guys just really doesnt happen is the problem- ask anyone in Miami or Cleveland. That's pretty much what I said. The Lakers are negotiating with Lebron. So, they should ask him what he thinks. If he's favorable, then yes, I think they should go get him if they can.
Worst case, they go get him, Lebron goes someplace else and they (hopefully) retain cap space to add pieces next off-season.
But if Lebron says it won't matter one way or the other, then I don't think they should bother.
with how he handled things in Cleveland and Miami do you think LeBron is really telling them what deals to make? From what i have seen he has put the onus on the teams to do shit and kind of stays above that shit.Agree 99%, unless James is somehow 'suggesting to them' how to handle it.
13 year olds are usually either starting 7th or 8th
I know that.
Under the current rules, If Bronny is in 7th grade, that means 7 more years before gen is draft eligible, so LeBron would need to play 8. If he is in 8th grade, LeBron would need 7 to play with him.
And that is assuming Bronny is a one and done player, which is a rather large assumption.

None of you were saying LBJ to Lakes at that time, was my point of posting that, dohtardWrong on PG like a lot of us were.
I don't know about that. Pretty sure he had a hand in the big 3 in Miami and in Love to the Cavs.
Even if he doesn't necessarily say anything directly, he definitely drops hints.
I certainly don't think the Lakers talking to Boogie after Lebron called him the best big man in the league is a coincidence. lol
I agree with this- but LEBron is never going to say--- "sign this guy and trade for this guy and i will definitely sign"--- he will put the onus on the team to make the deal without any guaranteeSpecifically, no, but for example he could be telling his people that he 'really likes Ingram', or 'don't really like Ball' which in turn gets relayed to the Lakers.
That doesn't mean the Lakers HAVE to listen to it, but I'm sure they'd strongly consider it.

plus- as much as i like Cousins- and if the Cavs could somehow get him id be overjoyed--- dude has a torn achilees, probably the worst injury a basketball player could possibly get. Theres talk that porzingis might be out maybe the whole year next year with it--- and Cousins if he comes back will probably be rehabbing most of the year.
