For that kind of money, I think he needs to find a defense.

You can let shit like that go, when you aren't paying the guy half of that, like last year.

See if he makes more corrections.
We'll know by the end of year 3.

Who the hell wouldn’t want to work for this guy? OU has the resources to pay and an offensive minded coach like Riley. Any DC would be dumb to pass it up.

It's about time. He's suffered long enough.

Yep

I thought ND and Charlie Weis taught everybody a lesson.

He really hasn't done enough to warrant a new contract...not from
Oklahoma. Who would offer him money like that, this quick.

He had his own offense and players already in place. The defense
didn't change scheme or results.

The OU name sells itself.

Teams start throwing out money, too quickly what do they do for
an encore. Iowa would be a good example of that.

And?

We're paying him a million less than Fisher, per year. And
he has a track record of creating good football programs. Our
program is already in place, plus he's a Floridian.

Now we're paying him more than Oregon, but I could have
paid him more than Oregon just to mow and edge my yard.

How much does he owe when sending a kid to the hospital? Asking for a friend.

Riley will have to learn on the run.
A few things he needs to fix.

We'll see.
Maybe a Phenom QB might help.

Yea those bonus incentives will really make him do a much better job than he is capable of.
During Taggart's one season at Oregon he managed to go 4 - 5 in conference (7 -6 overall), while having three asst. coaches fired .. one for DWI, another for riding shotgun with the one that got the DWI and the strength & conditioning coach putting three players in the hospital for dehydration ... one of 'em that almost died and another player that got booted off the team for driving drunk and running into the McDonalds sign in the parking lot.

Oregon has FSU money ... aka Nike and football facilities second to none. What they don't have is rich recruiting grounds. After Washington pumped Taggart's Ducks by a score of 38- 3 while Petersen called off the horses in the 4th qtr, Taggart knew he didn't have a chance in hell of beating a Chris Petersen coached Huskies team. Next thing you know ol slick Willie is heading south to FSU with four 4* recruits in tow ... ones that had already given Oregon a verbal.

Peterson don’t lose to no Ducks.
