Wish I got to see it
Pretty wild.
At least I recorded this.
#165 says it allI was out of pocket all day... I miss anything?!?
Agree completely on some of these young guys. Earlier I saw where you posted Profar playing 50% as well. Not sure what that will do for him. We need to make some moves so he plays everyday. He is really starting to get back to what we all that he could be when he was first called up. I don't want us to do something that sets him back some.Perhaps the true blessing of sucking is getting to explore the system and 'hopefully' finding a few guys who really are part of the future, and not just knock around minor leaguers......Telling ya straight up; I never heard of IKF until now.
I'm delighted with what I see with Guzman, incouraged by Profar, semi-optimistic with Odor, see nothing but encouragement on the Maz scale, and here comes Trevino outta nowhere. At least on my 'expectation scale.'.......Some nice light (s) in the tunnel-of-darkness called the 2018 season me thinks......Also, the pen has been, overall, a pretty bright spot.

HA! Gotcha. Makes sense. Saw where Profar is 3rd on the team behind Maz and barely behind Choo in SLG%. There are 4 guys tied for 8th in doubles with 20 in the AL and Profar has 19. And he is 3rd on the team in RBIs just behind Maz and Gallo but has fewer ABs.Probably wasn't clear.....50% of the time at 3rd.....then the rest.......sorry

I would be ecstatic with that. I think some of the low average can be attributed to all he has been thru and not playing in the MLB on a consistent basis and when he was playing he was playing in LF. So I hope to see that have a steady climb. I know in his last 5 games he is hitting .318.I hope Trevino learns to hit,
Profar is showing most of the signs of offensive potential, minus batting average
Hopefully he keeps progressing in that regard,
If he keeps playing I see .270, 40+ doubles, 20+ HRs, and around 100 RBIs with 50+ walks
His entire 'body of work' doesn't make any difference.........He's hitting MUCH better now and that's not debatable.
I've been Odor's biggest detractor for 18 months....I'm trying to give the young man a break, plus recognize the facts.
Nobody is arguing that. For the last time it's about evaluation of all the players and there is a lot of time to make decisions. Odor is entitled to his time as well as the next guy since nothing is at stake but making sure a complete and through evaluation is made. Makes no sense to do otherwise.Batting average - .243 .217
RBI - 41 15
HR- 8 1
At bats- 239 152
Strikeouts- 35 45
Walks - 20 13
Seems like a no brainer to me. Profar has more at bats than odor, but he also has less strikeouts and still hits for a higher average then him by a decent margin.
We should want guys to play who generally put the ball in play and get on base because our overall team struggles in that area.
Profar is the first line and odor is the second.

Not true in a rebuild year. In contention, yes. Quit worrying about Odor. Let the process work.I know you always point out that we’re not playing for anything this year and that’s true, but any coach worth his salt would play his best players regardless of circumstances.
I’m very interested in seeing the lineup card over the next week. I’m hoping to see odors playing time drop off some, but expecting the opposite.
