The posts were down game 3 because of the score.
Once games become unwatchable these boards always slow down.
game 1 was the same fucking way. lol- a blow out....you have got to be kidding me-- its a ghost town on the thread when the Cavs win and its times square on new years even when they lose. To say any different is pure delusion.

How would you know what its like when they lose?
Easier to find Bin Laden then you.

Anyway, game 1 was just that, game 1.
Teams had been off forever.
Cavs were coming off the sweep, where they played well on the road.
There was something to talk about.

And celebrating?
I missed those posts.

Wiggy's hopeful again now that both series are 2-2...

Not to mention, he gets to pick Magic's brain daily and all the other off the court things he's involved with.

What would LeBron want to pick Magic's brain about?

I really hate these games starting at 8:30, you can't even watch the games with your kid.

Speaking of the old school NBA. I'd like to see KD play in the 80's era. He'd get broken in half. And Draymond vs. Charles Oakley? I gotta hundred on Oakley.

Rodman, Laimbeer, and Mahorn would also have their way with Green.

Cleveland Cavaliers Pregame Scribbles: Stealing Boston's heart? -- Terry Pluto (video)

1. This game has a chance to tear the heart right out of Celtics if the Cavs can beat Boston tonight. Just how will the Celtics cope with losing three in a row to Cavs? Not well.

2. It's important to remember the Celtics and coach Brad Stevens have been knocked out of the playoffs by LeBron James and the Cavs in 2015 and 2017. Boston's playoff record vs. the Cavs since the return of James is 3-10. This starts to trend in the direction of Dwane Casey and Toronto being frustrated by James ... the Raptors record in that same span is 2-12 vs. the Cavs.

3. That's why tonight's Game 5 is so important. I believe the Cavs can lose Game 5 in Boston and still come back and win the last two games. But it will become a new mountain for the Cavs and James to climb. Boston will have its confidence back.

4. But a strong performance -- especially early in the game -- can make the usually raucous and even arrogant Boston crowd very nervous. They fear James just like so many other fans in Eastern Conference cities.

5. Stevens called it time "to grit your teeth and get off the mat and go after it again," as I mentioned in a recent column. The Celtics will be physical. There will be hard fouls. The Cavs can't come across as timid, as they did at times in the first two losses in Boston.

6. Curious to see how James plays in the first quarter in Boston. In the opener (108-83 loss), James scored five points. He was 2-of-6 shooting, no rebounds. He didn't drive hard to the basket. After 12 minutes, the Cavs were behind, 36-18. The game was pretty much over.

7. In Game 2, James came our roaring. He threw in 21 points. He was 4-of-7 on 3-pointers. The Cavs had a 27-23 lead at the end of the first quarter. But they faded and lost, 107-94. They blew a nine-point lead early in the third quarter.

8. A strong first quarter by the Cavs could deliver a powerful message to Boston. Looking back at the first quarter in Game 2, perhaps the problem was too much LeBron. He scored 21 of the Cavs 27 points. He took 13 shots, no one else took more than three or scored more than two points.

9. In their two victories in Cleveland, the Cavs held Boston to 94 points and 40 percent shooting. As coach Tyronn Lue mentioned: "We like where we're at. We like what we are doing defensively."

10. Now some common sense: Want to play better defense? Put more defensive-minded players on the court. For a while, Lue was playing Kevin Love at center, with Jeff Green and LeBron James at the forwards. Tristan Thompson wasn't playing much, and Larry Nance Jr. was forgotten.

again....i have absolutely zero clue who wins this game----

what we do know is that the Celtics will be playing like mad men. They will be physical and tough.

I really have no clue what Cleveland team shows up--- whether its the one that played with desperation in Game 3- or the one that didnt give a shit in Game 1- or something in between.

One of LeBron's best - if not the very best - performances of his career came on the road in a Game 5 of the ECF after being down 2-0.

Hoping for some of that magic tonight, I think the Cavs will need it to win in Boston.
