It isn't just the rings either.

The Warriors have something special going there. How many professional teams in any sport have you seen that have more fun than the Warriors do? They seem to really like each other and all reports I have heard is that it is genuine. They are like a family in Oakland.

So, it is really money vs. rings and bros.

In my mind, that is a pretty easy call. I am taking the rings and the comfort of staying home and playing with a group I know I like and fit in well with.
*See Dwayne Wade.

He should have stayed in Miami.

Ditto for King Troll, Lance Stephenson.

You didn’t even know Rockets won season series and you’ve already counted them out

Fun NBA fact (that I just made up). Throughout the history of the NBA whenever a team has won the regular season series they always beat that team in the playoffs as well. So you're right on by saying the Warriors should be shitting themselves w/ fear because the Rockets beat them on opening night AND back in January. I got Houston in 3. What's your prediction for the series?

Think the Warriors will go to a shorter rotation tonight. I'm kind of expecting the Warriors to not start the Hampton 5 out of the gate.

I think we'll see Curry, Klay, KD, Draymond and Looney to start the game. Then we'll have Iguodala, Livingston, Cook and Bell off the bench. I think the Warriors will roll with Bell initially over West because of his ability to defend in space. Cook is the wild card for me. I think he provides more value as a scorer off the bench than Young does at this point. Both are a bit of a defensive liabilities, but at least Cook is active on defense. Young just looks lost most times.

I doubt Javale and Zaza get any meaningful minutes this series.

Was watching the replay of game 5 of the GS/NO series and saw a replay they put together that showed Rondo sliding his foot under Curry as he goes up for a jump shot then quickly removing it before Curry landed. They also showed him stepping on the back of Dray's foot as he walks up the court. Dirty much? This probably explains Dray's animosity towards Rondo.

How is it dirty if he slides his feet back so Curry didn’t step on his foot? LOL. Anything a player does to Draymond doesn’t mean much in my book. He needs to be told a lesson.

By asking this question it is VERY clear you didn't see the play.
Also, Rondo isn't going to be teaching Dray anything other than how to lose in the 2nd round. SMH

Stop it, Dray doesn't do that to jump shooters. That could've severely injury Curry had Rondo's foot caught Curry's coming down. Dray talks trash but doesn't purposely go around trying to injury people. Now RW on the other hand does get sour grapes when he's losing & as we saw does throw punches & push guys. SMH

Interesting.

I was thinking the opposite in terms of the Hampton 5.

Going with that group allows them to start Iggy on Harden and Klay on CP3. CP3 usually subs out around the 6 minute mark, so Iggy could go to the bench around then too while Klay slides over to Harden.

I think Iggy's length on Harden will make it tough for him. He is also the ideal switch partner with Draymond on the Capella/Harden ball screen. Also, by putting Curry on Ariza or Gordon, you basically dare Houston to go away from their bread and butter to try and take advantage of that matchup.

IMO, Klay guards Harden as well as anyone in the league. Traditionally he's been the guy to guard Harden and he's caused him fits in the past. He plays really well without reaching and putting himself in a position to at least challenge Harden at the perimeter. I think they bring in Iguodala off the bench to have at least one key perimeter defender who can guard CP3 or Harden when one is on the bench with the second unit. If you rolled out with the Hampton 5 out of the gate, you throw off the rotations based on who's in the game. That's at least my logic for rolling with Iguodala on the second unit.
