Bills traded up to 7 for a QB for 2 seconds. Browns could've done that instead as their seconds were better . Could've had Barkley, Chubb and Rosen. Think about that. If only they'd had the balls to take Barkley at 1 they'd have the best first round in recent history. Maybe ever .
I think you are forgetting the 12th overall pick that was at least a small part of that deal. I doubt Tampa takes 2 2nds for #7 overall.

This draft plan makes a ton of sense really. When you stop and think about it.

undersized, mobile QBs have a tendency to get injured. So having two is the way to go. Not waiting after already spending a second rounder on a different QB maximized bet hedging.

And when nobody ever goes to your games by MidSeptember, might as well add more Buckeyes. Born n breed the better. And guys who disrespected the Buckeyes. Hot button shit. This has to move the needle in the Cleveland market.

Mayfield needs to demand the old unis.

They'd do it.

He's prolly gonna do real well tbh. He has a nice offense, lots of weapons and assets there. whenever it is he's better than Taylor. And Tyrod is good. It's a solid GB competitive situation in Cleveland. That's weird to think. Taylor's been there before, that should help both of them.

I hate you

This thread is going to look really dumb in a couple of years when Mayfield is a great QB.

I thought not pairing Chubb with Garrett was the bigger fuck up than Baker

Shit Baker could be the best of this class

I am a Browns sympathizer and always root for them. But it's getting harder. I don't believe Mayfield is Manziel but I also do not see Baker Mayfield as being the very first QB out of that wack conference to turn into a franchise NFL QB. I honestly don't see how anyone can see that in this guy. Their 2nd pick was a good player but again a head scratcher.

I feel like some folks just want to complain about the Browns picks because it is always so easy.

Baker Mayfield may be a complete dud. He may also be Drew Brees 2.0. No one here knows either way. But he is sure as shit no bigger a risk than any of the other QBs and if anyone thinks that the Browns could pass on a QB, AGAIN, then they are delusional.

Personally I absolutely love Mayfield's intangibles. Became an immediate walk on starter on not 1 but 2 FBS schools. Broke records as a junior. And then broke those records as a senior.

The Bills are going to be the team that looks back with regret at who they selected.

The Bills could have picked Mahomes, Watson, Rosen, or Jackson; 3 of which they wouldn't have had to trade picks for.

Understandable triggering- but equally derpy; well I don't like Darnold that much but the USC part should have nothing to do with it.

Penn State running backs haven't exactly have an illustrious history in the NFL if people believe in superstitious nonsense like that.

They do- but until it's their guy. Which... yeah, that's a certain level of weird I am not going to deal with right now.

I'm with ya, in a draft with no clear alpha QB, I like the Mayfield risk most

Browns doing fine, b. Quit yo bitching. Crying over picking Denzel Ward is the ultimate draft version of crying over spilled milk. If anyone, it's Giants fans who should be apoplectic
Gonna be really funny if they get Harold Landry and Guice.

Browns will be #Winning this draft while some of you are still butthurt they didn't grab your favorite college RB.
