Fair enough, but IMO, I didn't see anything really that bad. Some pushing is to be expected and additional physicality in the post is going to happen.

The Warriors were very physical with LA, but he still did his thing. The Spurs were very physical with the guards up top, but that's the playoffs for you.
Oh I agree on physical play - put when we see the Dubs getting called for pushing fouls but are getting pushed under their own basket that's a problem. I would like the refs to do two things:

1. Be more efficient in terms of making calls
2. Officiate consistently on both sides of the floor

Yeah definitely agree, but your two points aren't just applicable to the Warriors, it's every game around the League. I'm sure fans of any team would have your same two bullet points as areas of concern.

I mean, being completely objective, when Looney was in the game he was straight mauling Aldridge every time. From the start of the play to the end on defense, he would hold, grab, push with two hands (which is illegal) and bump as much as possible. The refs could have called him for a lot more fouls.

David West and Pau had a good matchup going. Both could have been called for more fouls on each other, but the refs tended to look the other way since it wasn't really giving either an advantage. Klay was actually being held quite a few times off screens, but he was still able to get his open looks.

Boston's without their two best players. Wall also played in game 1. So it shows how much basketball knowledge you possess when you don't even watch the games. Fantastic.
Too ridiculous to even comment on.

Absolutely, which makes the matter even more unacceptable. When EVERY team in the league is complaining I would argue there is some merit in those complaints.

Of course you are, Cletus.

You sure have an awfully high opinion of yourself. As long as you think you're that important that's all that really matters though.

On the flip side, Looney was doing to LA what EVERY team does to Steph, Klay & KD.

Of course I do, and I hope for your sake that you feel the same about yourself. Low self-esteem is a big problem among our young people. Be confident and fearless like me; you can learn to do it..

I didn't see the whole game, just the 1st half. He looked really good from what I saw. But in its entirety, this is a down year for him.

Like I said, he was deliberately saving himself for the playoffs during the regular season, because he's a very smart player and future coach who knew they didn't need his best then. They need it now and he's rested and ready.

Pretty much. Iguodala's entire salary is earned in the post season. He's one of the few who can get away with this. He defense has been amazing so far in the series.

Of course you trust the Spurs medical team, you're a homer.

Second, if his injury is worse, than what's the problem with him rehabbing it.

Also, last I checked, Kawhi's not going out of his way to bash his teammates. Parker for example looks like an asshat now if the latest report is true on Kawhi's degenerative condition.

You should've just erased this whole post and stuck with "we don't know what has happened behind closed doors".
Whomever is putting this info out isn't doing Kawhi any favors either.

This could cost him a lot of money.

Degenerative conditions can cripple the players ability to recover sufficiently and the franchise that paid him, sooner rather than later.

* See Brandon Roy, Danny Granger

* I don't mean cripple the player literally *

Negotiating tactic perhaps?

Or, maybe it's a spin job to restore Kawhi's halo.

I guess time will tell.

It's not being a homer. The Spurs history and reputation shows that they will not risk a player just for a couple of extra wins. They shot a young Tim Duncan down (when he wanted to play) for the entire postseason when they were the reigning champs and a legit contender.

Even with Kawhi back, the Spurs are not winning this year, so they wouldn't risk it.

I don't resent Kawhi returning when he feels he's ready, but IMO supporting his teammates during the games doesn't prevent him from conducting his rehab.

Ask Isiah Thomas if coming back early was the right move.
He pushed it. He got the hero's treatment for playing through pain.
Then he fell apart, got traded twice, and is likely to lose 100 million dollars for coming back.

Tony Parker is the only teammate not being supportive and calling out Leonard.
But, he came back early as well foolishly. He looks shattered and unable to play.
This might be his last 3 games. He probably should have sat out longer.

If anything, Parker is making the decision easier for Kawhi to rest up.
One dumb mistake in rehabbing it too soon, and Kawhi Leonard probably loses 100-200 million.

I dont blame him at all.

Injured players don't always sit on the bench supporting teammates - Waiters doesn't sit on the bench for Heat games since he's had ankle surgery back in December (I believe that's the timeframe).

The injury you referenced in regards to Duncan is a really easy choice. He tore his MCL right before the playoffs. Of course they weren't going to play him - most MCL tears are about a 2 month recovery.

This also isn't a couple of extra wins either with Kawhi.

If Kawhi is with the Spurs, you best believe they're a legit contender for the title. They wouldn't be the favorites, but they'd be ahead of Cleveland and Houston to get behind Houston odds wise.

Too ridiculous to even comment on.

Which part? Because you mentioned Milwaukee taking Boston to OT (for one playoff game) while they're without two of their best players - Heyward and Irving, which is a fact.

You also (and this is laughable) mentioned the Wizards being a dangerous team if Wall comes back. Which Wall actually played in game 1 (means you didn't watch the game). On top of that, Wall, while with the Wizards has not really done anything in the playoffs to make it seem like the Wizards would be a dangerous team in the East. There's a reason they're the 8th seed. Before you mention Wall's injury during the regular season, the Wizards actually played well for long stretches WITHOUT him.

So again, which part is ridiculous? Because I basically refuted both of your points with relative ease.

He doesn't ever have anything to back up what he says. Good luck trying to get an articulate response.
