So if he has a blah year you traded a one for a guy who didn't produce and if he lights it up you either lose him in free agency or overpay for a guy who has one great year under his belt . Not a good proposition in my opinion. At least with OBJ you'd have to extend him before you traded for him so he's yours for the foreseeable future
