Arguably the greatest QB ever....Dan Marino....scored 16 on the wonderlic. I think I read somewhere that Johnny Manziel had the highest score in his draft class amongst QB's.

It's a waste IMO.

What if I told you the strength of the correlation of wonderlic scores as it pertains to success is weak at best outside of CB and TE; which has an inverse relationship.

Having a high wonderlic score does not translate to success in the NFL. But having one of the lower scores for the QB position is definitely a red flag in most instances.

In Jackson's case, he is getting bad advice from his mother who is his 'agent'. He didn't study for the test. And teams are having trouble scheduling meet n' greats & workouts with him.

She is literally taking money out of his pocket.

Agent fees are capped at 3%. That is $30k for every million you make. Even if agents don't have to do much in rookie contract negotiations nowadays, they still can act as your PA. Basically, they make navigating the draft process easier & are well worth the money spent.

Here's a list of NFL historical Wonderlic scores. One player aced it. A punter that I have never heard of.

A lot of dumb running backs out there as well.

It's not designed to test how good a QB will be just how quickly they process a situation using gray matter.

Interesting test. It is hard to finish in the 12 minutes (just took it). I scored a 35 and i'm not that bright by any stretch. I don't see how someone could score less than a 15.

Kaepernick scored 38. Higher than Rodgers. I would take it with a big grain of salt

No link, you must have scored a 7 or 8 on the Wonderlic.

Yea, I think I would be scared off by players who scored awfully too. A 6? How can anyone possibly be that dumb?
