Took the Wonderlic a couple times and was mid 30s. Think my highest was 38/50. That said, the time management really throws you off. You only have 12 minutes to complete 50 questions so about 15 seconds for each question.

Most of the questions are fairly simple but like any standardized test I think it's something you gotta practice for if you want to go 40+ correct. Apparently mid 30s is like 90th percentile, so props to the guys that go 40+. They're definitely smart, how that translates to football is a different thing all together.

I really don't get the point of the Wonderlic. None of it is football related and history has shown no trend of success/failure for higher/lower scores.

Looked it up. Scoring in the 10 range suggests you're illiterate.

Frank Gore is probably going to end up 3rd or 4th on the all time rushing list. He scored a 6.

Some of you need to realize many players blow this test off. They don't care about their score, especially if they think they're going to be drafted in the first round, which many QBs are told they will.

Not sure why the NFL even administers it anymore.

I got the same one. The math was easy but my brain couldn’t figure out the word scrambles. Pretty impressed with the guys who nail 40+
I am borderline useless with math so this would be a test I do pretty poorly on if anything. I wouldn't take a wonderlic very seriously in general.

Yeah plenty of players blow this test off, so the results are invalid. Besides you don’t need to be smart to be a good player, just not incredible stupid, heck even being stupid may not matter for some positions, if the coach can dumb down what is required.

I don't know if the wonderlic score matters at all or not, but all else remaining equal I'm taking the guy with the 37 over the 13:noidea:

What if I told you the strength of the correlation of wonderlic scores as it pertains to success is weak at best outside of CB and TE; which has an inverse relationship.
Then I'd tell you that you should probably retardedly manage a baseball team in retarded fashion.
