That's what happens when you suck. A new guy steals the nickname.

He'd better have something left, he may as well have taken the past few seasons off. But given that there are TE's like Ertz, Kelce, Rudolph, Eifert who, in my opinion have passed even his ceiling, and that there are so many up and comers like Engran, Howard, Njoku, Butt, and a few others that look ready to at least equal what he can do, his relative value isn't gonna be all that great even in NO.
It'll be good that he's leaving Seattle, I'm not so sure its gonna be good enough for him to be put in the elite TE conversation again

premier red zone threat, and will be for at least 2-3 more yrs, imo.
imagine if he actually gets to play with a QB-sized QB (no offense to Brees and Wilson)

that RZ work alone should keep him in the top 10 for TE position - as he showed last year. Was barely used until they got to the 10yd line, still had enough TDs to be top 6 or 7 at TE.

But agreed, Graham isn't the dominant force he once was, the hits and injuries have taken their toll.
Best If Used By date is probably come and gone, but he ain't expired yet!

OJ howard owners get to wait a lot longer than expected, it seems.

Kinda felt like this was the scouting report on Howard last year anyway - great all around TE, but not the receiving specialist TE that teams get these days

I always felt he was hindered at Bama more than he was helped. I think Howard can do it all but who knows.

Teams courting Brees!?!
Think I mentioned this a month ago.
Would not be surprised if the Saints made a run at Cousins.
You all thought I was crazy.

Bills trade Cordy Glenn (LT), to the Bengals for a 1st round pick swap. Bills now have #12, not sure which of #21, #22 we unloaded.

I think the Saints might just get caught with their pants down on this one. I'm sure Brees was just allowing Cousins to dictate the market and leading the Saints to believe that he'd sign whenever that mark was set. Maybe the smell of money, and with the Vikes perhaps a ring, might be swaying his loyalty a bit. I still think he'll ultimately remain a Saint, but they really should've franchised him, let Cousins sign, and then worked out an extension, at least slightly higher than whatever Cousins gets.

As for Cousins, that ain't a good sign..if Brees is serious about entertaining other offers, now Cousins is the fallback option, not the marquee name. If Brees signs for less than 30, no way Cousins gets the 30+ he was looking at getting.

Rotoworld says #21. at #12, they "should" be in line to get one of the top 4 QB's off the board, and it didn't cost them as much as was feared. Gotta call that a win

My skepticism comes from not knowing this QB class. But it was "cheap"... The problem is, we now need three new starters on our O line. Rookie won't stand a chance.

I don't understand what the hell my Cowboys are doing..according to the Sportingnews, they're a mere 12 grand under the cap. How they haven't reworked Dez's deal, or outright cut him (saving 8 million) yet is beyond me. Terence Williams another guy that could save 5+ million pretty easily. For a team with obvious needs and plenty of available quality options out there in 2 days, they sure are slow playing this deal.

Hard to say with Jerra in charge, but in any other situation, he'd either be taking a significant cut, or be cut. I think they should cut both him and Williams, start over with Butler, Brown, Beasley, and Switzer.

Getting annoyed (maybe) with his Hawks.

And then there's my Bears stuck in the mud.

Did you ever think you'd see the day that the BROWNS were making better moves?

Not without Kevin Costner and Jennifer Garner...and Dennis O'Leary.
