(USA Today Fantasy Sports) New England Patriots impending free-agent RB Dion Lewis plans to test the market unless he is offered around $10 million guaranteed as part of a three-year deal, according to Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald, and Howe said the "early vibe" is that Lewis won't be back with the Patriots in 2018.

If that's his asking price, he'll have a hard time finding work anywhere. I can't imagine too many GM's out there aren't aware that he's a product of Tom Brady and the Patriots offensive system, and a simple scat back for pretty much everyone else

ROTOWORLD:
49ers signed QB Jimmy Garoppolo to a five-year, $137.5 million contract.
In terms of average-annual value — $27.5 million — it makes Garoppolo the highest-paid player in NFL history.
Mathematically, it breaks down to 1.7 million per game.

Reminder: Bears signed Mike Glennon last year for 14 mill. Since he only played in 4 games, that means they paid a him 3.5 million per game.

Guaranteed money is different from salary.
But that's still a lot for a RB.
The highest paid RB right now makes less than 9 million per season.

Dang Treff.

Why you disliking SP's post?

All he did was quote US Today. He isn't saying he believes Lewis to be worth that much money.

Looks like Eagles' OC Frank Reich is the leading candidate for the Colts HC.

Who said he'd bring along Nick Foles?
I could realistically see that happening since the news on Andrew Luck is concerning (in a bad way).
Sounds even more like the Colts now. Bringing Foles along definitely seems like a smart play, but they'll have to trade for him. And as we fantasy geeks know, there will never be a worse time to trade for him than this off season. Talk about buying high, it'd be near impossible to get adequate return on investment.

True, but if the Colts are as dysfunctional as some are speculating, I could see them trading multiple picks and/or TY Hilton for Foles.
Man, that would set off a domino of a crazy off-season.

Emmanuel Sanders - WR - Denver Broncos
Posted 2/10/18 9:22am ET
Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders could be placed on the trade block this offseason because of his salary and his uncertain durability, in the opinion of The Denver Post's Nicki Jhabvala. Sanders missed four games this season because of an ankle injury and is scheduled to have salary cap hits of around $10.9 million and $12.9 million over the next two seasons.

Huddle Up: Sanders had a disappointing 2017 season with only 555 yards and two touchdowns. He has been a solid receiver since entering the league but may be on the move during the offseason. He can be a starter for most teams in the NFL and could be a No. 3 fantasy receiver depending on his team.

True no doubts, not saying they wouldn't, just saying it's gonna be damned expensive, and might hamstring an already disfunctional organization even more. Hard way for Riech to get good HC marks on the resume, for sure.

Man that'd be crazy. Hard to imagine a world where TY Hilton for Nick Foles is a "good" move

yea, they've been talking about this move on local radio like its almost a forgone conclusion most of the last couple months. Although the radio hosts have a pipe dream of what they could get for him, one even suggested a mid-high 1st round pick
