Unfortunately I agree with you. We also have a terrible trajectory with a bunch of aging players and baseball's worst farm system. Gonna be a long time before the Mariners make the playoffs again.

Lol unfortunately I don't have the same silver lining with the Mariners. I went to around 15 games (going to MLB games is probably my favorite thing to do) and sat in the club section every time. Generally $60-$70 a ticket. Then it costs $10 or so per beer if you want to drink something decent. $8 for a tallboy of Coors. Centerfield bleacher tickets run around $20. Same with the entire upper deck. Not cheap at all.

Even though the team sucks, they continue to make money unfortunately. Mostly off of idiots like me.

Buy a flask.


I get drunk at minor league games. It's almost like they encourage it with their beer prices. But I can't justify paying for a buzz at a big league game.


You have a shot at the WC this year, I think. The Angels upgraded with Upton and Kinsler, but their pitching isn't anything.

If you beat out Texas for second there's a good shot at the playoffs.
