Joe Flacco in January is not the Joe Flacco in the regular season. Just look at his history. Baltimore almost beat that dominant pats secondary in 2014 on the road and knocked off the steelers at home in the wild card the round before. In fact when was the last time Flacco and Harbaugh ever went one-and-done in the playoffs? Never.

This is not 2013 anymore, you're kidding yourself, closet ravens fan

You don't lose this kind of game. This is embarrassing for the steelers franchise and history, worse that losing at home to the ravens in 2014. You think Jacksonville is even gonna be second in the division next year(unless Luck is still hurt)? This is a flash team, nothing more.

I don't know. The Steelers never had the lead today. Tough loss for sure, but they were never really in a position where it looked like they would win.

I'd say the Saints loss today was far more embarrassing and soul crushing.

lol are you kidding? the jags are here to stay, genius. bortles may not be great or anything, but he should improve, if even slightly, and that's assuming they don't go out and replace him with a free agent that might even make them better. their defense is the real deal, I would be SHOCKED if they don't win the AFC South for multiple years to come.

lol "Andrew luck" he says. Luck's best days are behind him, believe that.

What about that one regime to the next thing you were touting off about?

I guess losing at home to the Bengals in a must win game to get into the playoffs is easier to get over that losing a Divisional playoff game, while putting up 42 against one of the best defenses in the league.

Why am I even taking the time with you?

The jaguars were on the road against a team off a bye. They were not going to stop that offense all game. They got off to a 21-0 lead, and then it was Bortles beating Big Ben head on.

Hell, if they get any of the QB's on the market not named Bradford due to injuries, they're in better shape at QB. There are not a lot of ways they fuck the sup outside of keeping Bortles.

no, it was bortles beating a godawful Steeler defense head-on; Ben plays quarterback, he's not on the field at the same time as blake.

Some of those things make sense and I was hoping for something a little more out there out of you but still guaranteeing that the steelers won't be back atop the division is very out there, even for you.

Then again you really are a bad hot take artist and we can see that in this thread. It's a beautiful thing and I hope you find a way to make it a career. Perhaps you can become the next Skip Bayless! - although even he is a lot brighter than you.

Maybe you should go watch the NBA or MLB because teams can continue losing in October and keep coming back but in the NFL that's not gonna fly. It caught up with Seattle and Green Bay and one of them have finally made changes. Who wants to watch Big Ben lose again in the playoffs?

Oh is that all? thats a super easy fix. no problem

It is, have you seen their running game. They have no elite RBs and no elite WRs. Steve Smith was a desperation signing, no longer what he once was. Maclin was moved to the slot, and Mike Wallace is only good for deep plays and TDs because that's what he wanted in Pittsburgh and Miami. Perriman is a bust. Oh, and Ben Watson was a terrible fit for this offense. Who did they have? They had nothing resembling Ray Rice, Boldin, and T Smith who should have never left because Flacco at least made him into something the other QBs cannot.

We lost a close game on the road, how is that embarrassing?

People said the same thing about Brees in 2006.

Why should I? Pittsburgh is losing to a inexperienced team. The jags are going to get killed next week. There is no way they are beating NE or even making it close. The steelers are burnt out. They got down 21-0 and turned the ball over for two scores, which is why they are going home.
oh no we lost to an up and coming team, so let baltimore win the division what the hell are you talking about...........this is up their with your other moronic posts that you disappear from when u get lambasted

The jags are what the raiders were last year...fool's gold. Six months without NFL action can have an effect on a team. Ask Carolina and Atlanta. And crazy things happen Zeke missed six games which cost Dallas the playoffs(which we knew something was going to happen to keep them out). Don't think Fournette could not have a DUI this offseason or get involved in some scandal. Ramsey could have a season-ending injury. Even if Luck does not come back, DeSean Watson was playing out of his mind until he went down and I guess we will see if Jacksonville can slow that down. This jags defense did get lit up by Jimmy Garropolo week 16. Defenses don't play that stout back to back historically either.

Lol so then what do you suggest the Steelers do, kid? Force ben out of town if he doesn't want to retire?

By the way he threw for over 400 yards and four or five touchdowns? Right up there with AB as the only reasons they were even in the game at all given the defense...and of course he's the problem according to you. But the fact that you think a 45-42 loss to by far the best d in the league is reason to give up on ben is so you!
