Clemson lost at Syracuse without their QB. Syracuse didn't make a bowl game.

Auburn lost at Clemson without their top player.

Auburn's loss is better. Clemson's lost got excused. Auburn's injury gets overlooked.

Auburn had 3 losses and Clemson had one.

Do UCF and Wisconsin fans really need to embarrass themselves like this?

One should excuse the UCF crowd. This is all very, very new to them. Wisky though? Them boys been fodder forever and should show a tad bit of humility....cause it's coming back soon.

Exactly. Playing nobody all year and then begging/backing into the NCG is what Ohio State does...not Bucky.

I'm so happy UCF put the Power 5 snobs in their place.

Every school has quality D1 athletes. Undefeated teams should get rewarded. UCF has the talent to be National Champs and they got robbed.

I love how you simple minded retards will go with the Auburn beat both teams playing in the NCG, but them not even mention the fact that Georgia beat them when it mattered in dominating fashion, by more than UCF beat Auburn in the same stadium.

Give credit where it's due, derptards.

Auburn was 2-0 with Kerryon Johnson healthy against the two teams in the championship. Auburn lost a close game to Clemson at Clemson without Kerryon Johnson, which is much better than losing at Syracuse without your QB in the second half.

Auburn was 0-1 against UCF with Kerryon Johnson healthy. And, Auburn couldn't run the ball.
This ALL DAY LONG!!

Auburn won all their tough games at home. Last 2 losses were not at home. Home field is huge in college football.

If UCF wants in, play someone outside the AAC or whatever the hell that weak ass conference is. It's simple

Not reading through the whole thread, but I have no problem with how everything went down.

You cant give a team a playoff spot after the regular season is over. It doesn't work that way & shouldn't work that way.

If the CFP rewarded UCF with a playoff spot, they'd be rewarding poor schedules & poor resumes.

They scheduled an ACC and B1G team, and the ACC team they scheduled after they were in conference championship. And, they had several chances to lose to someone the caliber of Syracuse and Iowa butthey never did. When they played auburn, they made Auburn’s offensive line look silly.

They had to do that no matter what. They can’t just put 3 teams in the playoff

I can get behind your valid points in that Georgia earned their way into the CFP. They had an opportunity at another game that mattered (CCG) and won, thus filling all CFP criteria like Oklahoma and Clemson did.
Wisconsin had an opportunity to fill all the checkmarks on Dec 2nd and failed to do so.
Alabama had an opportunity to fill all the checkmarks a week earlier and also failed to do so.

The question is who should have been the 4th team selected?

Neither USC, Ohio St, Alabama, or Wisconsin met all criteria like Georgia, Oklahoma, and Clemson did.
There's only one other team that did and it was UCF.
Yes, I can and have questioned UCF's SOS. However, they won all those games like they should have and their AAC opponents played pretty well against P5's in their bowl games. The same P5's that other CFP members take credit in beating.

So their best OOC win was @Maryland (who's QB went down during the game). They scheduled Ga Tech that's great but didn't make it up after being cancelled. So they beat no one in a conference comparable to the Big 10 west.

Anyone on that Auburn Oline going pro? Or on the defense? You do know agents can talk to players after the regular season is over with. Anyone disregarding this every year and thinks these bowl games are a clear cut way of seeing how good a team is... WRONG -- you have no idea of who is going to show up.

And like I said, Auburn at home is tough. Auburn on the road not so much.

Would have been interesting to see UCF in the playoff, but they are behind Ohio St in line and maybe Wisconsin.

They were 12th, they were behind way more than just Ohio State and Wisconsin.

Just saying, it’s not like they can schedule teams and make sure they’re good. You said to make the playoffs they need to schedule better. They did schedule better. They scheduled two power 5 teams, one of which was coming off a conference championship game. They played 11 games without a bye week, I’m sure they tried to reschedule but they likely did all they could.

Did Auburn have any potential pros that had agents in their ear? This is the shitty part of bowls that mean jack shit. Bunch of shit

I don't think Auburn is a top 10 team away from their own backyard.

Not this year, no...but they did play over their heads for a couple of games, and beat a couple of teams they probably shouldn't have

Question Auburn all you want, but those discrediting Georgia just because they're playing Alabama is ridiculous.

I haven't questioned Auburn or Georgia. I question Alabama.
Hopefully Georgia can put It to rest by winning the NCG.

I meant question Alabama. And I wasn't really directing my original post at you. Derptards that say UGA's title wouldn't be legitimate because Auburn beat us, and then UCF beat Auburn and then fail to mention we dominated Auburn when it mattered are gonna be mouth breathing retards beyond redemption in my eyes.
