You are correct doug. I am sure all universities want a head football coach who is 9-7 in his last 16 games and hasn't won a thing in three years. And that 1-5 record against his major rivals? I know ALL college ADs are trying to find a football coach that can produce those kind of results.

Trolls are often entertaining participants on chat threads, but there's a delicate balance of just enough, and too much. In moderation, it is fun to feed the trolls, and in this case, poke the tarded troll who's overflowing with hubris despite rooting for nothing but losers - including some of the worst teams in their respective leagues.

If the scales tip to too much, then you either have to pull back on the reigns, or mash the gas in the hopes of pushing the troll into a meltdown. tHoop went overboard with @MiamiVice, and we then mashed the gas sending him into a meltdown and now he's gone.

I don't think any of the guys currently on this board are the type to meltdown, so for now, it's a matter of keeping them wound up enough to be entertaining without going all in and making the thread about nothing other than the troll.

IMO, the Tribe took a step backwards in being "forced" to replace Santana with Yonder Alonso. Alonso never hit more than 9 homers in a season until last year. (Check his pee!!!) At least he came cheap. With the money Cleveland saved...perhaps they are planning on a reunion with Victor Martinez in 2018???

I don't think anyone would argue that Alonso is better than Santana. But it's a good deal if it frees up money to improve elsewhere. 2/16 to 3/60 is not proportional to the value from Alonso to Santana.
