Arguably a good point. Denver has a stronger and longer tradition of winning as a franchise but right now, I think we're viewed as quarterback purgatory at this point. I wouldn't under estimate Elway's influence and salesmanship but right now if I had to guess, Cousins would prefer to stay in Washington. I think the Redskins will get a deal done. No team wants to start over at the QB position. We oughta know.

Your QB next year will be Alex Smith

Don't you wish that curse upon us.

he's not that bad and much better than what you've got

give him Thomas, Sanders, and a RB, and he will be fine.

He is that type of player that is good enough to get you to the playoffs but never over the top unless you have aridiculous team around him. Not exactly what I am looking for in a QB. I want more.

So you want a QB who can beat the Patriots

Who doesn't?

I want a QB that gives us a bigger chance to actually win the whole thing. Other QB's have won other than Brady recently. Manning, Wilson, other Manning, (I don't count Flacco among this group as I think his Super Bowl was pretty fluky), Big Ben, Rodgers. So in the past 10 Super Bowls 6 other QB's have actually won Super Bowls with some of them multiple Super Bowls. So I don't think it is as far fetched as some believe to find that QB.

Not following your logic - this time Carl. I think your examples prove how rare it is to find a good/excellent - durable QB. 360 Million people in the USA, but only about 7 desirable QBs (unfortunately - these few QBs were true back when the USA only had 200 million people).

Having the ability to draft one of those few players (top 4) the best available avenue to try and get a franchise QB. I dont want to see VJ lose his job but a top 4 pick could jettison this team back to the top faster than anything.

Well an overthrow on your first attempt that likely would've been a 70+ yard TD isn't the way you want to start off Paxton.

Wow. I had a feeling that they'd get a pic. What a way for it to happen, though.

14 point swing by taking that TD off the board. His knee was down but it’s where the ball is when the knee is down and it definitely looked like it was across the goal line.

And THAT kind of thing is why the league’s ratings continue to decline. When the refs can’t evwn get a TD pass right...
