The ESPN story is pretty balanced in my view. Jones is losing a power play with Blank and some of the other owners. But he's not entirely wrong about the league being run poorly by Goodell. It's just that everyone sees through that and knows, Jerry never complained before, he is only complaining now because his boy Zeke got slapped.

What are the owners complaining about. Didn't they voted Goodell in as commissioner?

I honestly don't care about JJ or RG. I side with RG solely because the league should be allowed to run the way they want. If that means paying RG absurd money, so be it.

JJ has always felt that he should have a greater say in the league which is likely why he never has.

He was an owner of a USFL franchise.

And like Jerruh, he tried to be a leader among owners. Decided it was time to take on the NFL directly. The USFL promptly did what so many of his bad ideas do, it went bankrupt.
