Not a question of being untalented - just perhaps that he is not a future NBA lottery pick or possibly even player. Not sure if this article is accurate, but it appears that even his Dad has questions in this area.

That doesn't mean he is untalented and let's be honest hear. The only reason he was called untalented is because of the hatred in general for the dad. That seems wrong to attack the children because a person(I'm not saying you personally) hates Lavar Ball. Not that I expect anything different in here. He might not be talented enough for the NBA, but the phrase was "UNTALENTED" When in fact he was talented enough to land on the UCLA team

His dad reacted completely wrong to the public. he should have said that it is a big deal. Now he is challenging the Chinese govt on who saves face. I think the Dad is an idiot and very trump like

This is true. It's one of the reasons their football team struggles to get quality coaches (especially assistants). Outside of the head coach (which barely does) the assistants don't make enough to live in Brentwood. The problem with that is that traffic is pretty terrible and living just 15-20 miles away can mean a 2 hour commute just to get to the campus.
