Gotta wade through a bunch of hyperbole here, but the statement was NEVER "yards don't matter." It was yards don't win games. The point being made on yesterday's game is the offense was moving the ball. They also converted 3rd downs at a rate that is akin to playing winning football. Anyone with a "sound brain" should understand that. You're too consumed in being a blowhard to be consistent with your own narrative.

The offense was moving the Ball? They punted 5 times and like i said only had 2 drives all game that were OVER 50 yards. But i guess 4 yard 3 yard 3 yards does =10 and a first down. They had a drive of 11 plays but it was just 33 yards or 3.3 ypp. Ok lets say you start on the 25 yard line ( NFL Average is the 28 ), it takes a 75 yard drive to score a TD ( 72 if you go off average ). The hawks had 1 drive all game long that was over 55 Yards. that's it just one single drive over 55 yards. uni, eins, odin, yksi, um, en, un, ett!

Thankfully the Giants punted 7 times on a boat load of 3 and out's giving the Hawks the ball a ton. 11 Drives the Hawks had ( 12 if you count the kneel down ). thankfully the Hawks got some shorter field TD's also ( 38 yards, 50 yards ) or we might have seen OT lol. Ouch.

Sound brain enough for you? WHO isn't consistent and WHO is a blow hard?

you wrote a single paragraph with 3 insults in it aimed at me lmao, so by your logic i should just discount anything you say because you have an agenda. A polished pile of shit is still a pile of shit right?

Eh. We left 14 points on the table and still blew them out. It was the G-Men but it was also a road game.
Either this is an anomaly or it is a step forward towards more consistant performances. Hopefully we will see more of the same next week.

You should at least get your numbers right if you are going to stat parse.

Only the bizarro world of Seahawks nation does a 17 point win somehow turn into a negative thing worthy of criticism.

WTF is this inside bickering all about?

This whole Baldwin/Cable thing has been blown way WAY outta proportion.

When your playing a sport. Sometimes Emotions get blown outta control. I have been there(2012 Special Olympics winter Nationals).

This is a pristine example of this. Just like Robby Anderson and his Helmet toss yesterday

wow you quoted my post 2 minutes AFTER i corrected the error that was a flipped stat on CBS they had the Hawks passing yards in the Giants total yards. That is why i said after that WTF how? but i see how you removed that part of it the only one clueless is you and your failed attempt to try and pound your chest.

See this is the thing i said i was happy about the improvements but that the Hawks shot themselves in the foot repeatedly, but you all only see the bad things then get all highschool about it lmao. They killed drives with penalties ( Holding/False starts and dropped passed ). Yet everyone thinks it's all shiny. This team has issues and scoring 24 points against the Giant's isn't anything to brag about. The Chargers 3-4 ( yeah that other REALLY bad team ), Bucs 2-4 and Eagles( the one good team )all scored more than our poor hawks. The Hawks should have had 30+ easy but there are issues that are killing this team. But go ahead and turn up your nose to them just to avoid a intelligent discussion about it.

I swear this board is full of 15 year olds that can't handle and criticism about "Their Home team" and on top of it they ONLY see the stuff that bothers them then stick their foot in their mouths on replies with out reading everything first. I guess they no longer give that test in Highschool where it says to read the whole thing before answering the questions then at the end it says hand in the test with out answering or doing any of the questions other than signing your name. Or they still do and we found the ones that failed and still to this day don't know how or why lol

thats the best you can do, really? come on now. You made a fool of yourself by cutting out only PART of the post just to flame and removing the most important part when i said "wtf? How?" then when i looked on ESPN not CBS it had stats correct so i corrected it and THEN you post it 2 minutes later. :L

Well if anything you help me understand what is wrong with kids today. You see when i was growing up we knew what constructive criticism was and we used it to better our selves. Now people just say F**K you and turn their noses up to anything that doesn't make them feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

If you don't like what people say then ignore it or start a discussion, but no people today just attack. We live in a world full of people that never really grew up. It is pretty sad to see.

I know what the Issue is, we got some major bandwagon fans in here now ( showed up after 2013). Oh well it was expected i guess. All you have to do is look at the Steelers, Cowboys and Pats fan base to understand what i am saying.

Don't give two craps about what someone says if they just constantly ramble and rant and screw up simple facts.

it's called a discussion but you are twisting quotes, so why don't you tell us all why you left out the WTF? HOW? part of my post that you quoted? Please tell us as i really want to know? Was it because it looked better for you?

when people purposely misquote someone it's because they are either an unethical jerk or a severely limited thinker But i will give you the benefit of the doubt. So why did you "misquote" me?

Honestly don't give a rip. I quoted part of what you said, not all. Didnt realize a "WTF" was such an imperative part of your message, but I guess I gave you more credit than I should.

Funny thing to me is you deleted that part. Why? Couldnt be because you realized how big of a F up it was, could it? Why not just keep it in there if it was Pee Wee Herman on purpose-like.

Anyway.....

"Thankfully who BTW the Giants had 300+ total yards (WTF? HOW?)" I deleted that because my assumption that it couldn't be possible was right. But sure what ever floats your boat. I didn't fuck up my assumption, i felt that they had no where near that yardage and was right. I was shocked that it showed them with 300+ total yards and my sentence showed my conflict with those stats that was messed up on CBS.

Of course you deleted the most important part because it fit your narrative. Twisted the truth to form a lie that you thought everyone would get a kick out of but you were caught red handed and now you admit to it.

what was it you said? Cedibility = Zero? yep does now for you. lol

Players need to play. Coaches need to coach. Issues bw the two should be handled behind close doors. You respect, at a minimum, the position not the person.

I read the article. The head coach told cable to go talk to the offense. He told him what to tell them. While he was doing that Baldwin disrespected him and didn't allow him to do his job. This is what happens when players like Sherman are allowed to openly question the head coach on the sidelines.

Emotions run high when you're playing football.

I'm the first person to call out Bennett or Sherman for acting stupid, but I've personally met Doug Baldwin a number of times and he is a very quiet, reserved guy. You can probably see it in the interviews. Frustrations occasionally boil over. He's one of the smartest players on this team IMO and one of the smartest route runners I've seen in my time watching the NFL.

The offensive line has been the weak link in this team for a long time. The Seahawks had some nice drives that were ended by drops, and plagued by ridiculous penalties by the offensive line. Baldwin's anger would've been better directed at Ifedi, but Cable is still the coach.

Either way, I have no issue with Baldwin's actions. There have always been "controversies" about the locker room, but all I know is that since Carroll took over, the Seahawks are 60-25-1 since 2012, have made the playoffs every year, have 2 Superbowl appearances, one Superbowl win and are perennial Superbowl contenders. Obviously your Pats can top that, but that's still extremely impressive. So, I'm not concerned about locker room bullshit or "disrespect" of coaches. I care about winning.
