But, no luck for them this year.....only nonstop agonizing losses where they led in the 4th quarter

They are an awesome (6-1) versus the point spread. Yay!

The QB is not the problem.
It is offensive line injuries. The line is too banged up and hurting to block for anyone.

Buechele would get sacked over and over. He would never be able to get off any passes.
And he is more fragile and likely to get hurt.

Ehlinger is able to elude pressure. He just doesn't have the Big Arm to throw it downfield.
And he is tough enough to not get hurt.

Until the line returns, it wont matter who is the QB.

BTW, Texas is now 49-46 over the last eight years. Never losing less than four games in a season. TexasExes, what's that make Texas?

Four losing seasons, maybe a fifth in the works. Texas still has TCU, West Virginia, and T Tech.

Baylor has to win a game eventually.

You guys just don't have the horses to win games like that right now. But you will. Tom Herman will win a NC at Texas and he's already showing a LOT of improvement over what Strong was doing.

I agree, Give Texas a really good dual threat JR/SR QB (I didn't think Buechele would fit what Herman wants to do and..he don't) and a couple solid upperclassmen Olinemen and they are killin it this year imo. I think the future is bright in Austin too.
