It's really just strange especially since he's never had experience as a catcher. Just made the whole thing embarrassing having to take him out mid inning.

He probably only faces 1 hitter tho. So just hope it isn't a homer haha

it's kinda gimmicky but at this point in the season who cares, it's still fun.

I thought this was pretty cool, actually. I mean shit, final weekend, lost cause season, meaningless game, why not. It's no worse than the many teams that play nothing but September call-ups at this point of the season, imo.
Props to Romine and Ausmus for giving fans a little entertainment. The catching thing was pretty sad though, lol.

It was a bastardization of the feat. At least most (if not all) of those who had previously done it had played each position for an inning. Our fans did show class to applaud the feat however.

Total bastardization. Announcers always say the great thing about baseball is you can watch it for 50 years and still on any given day you can see something you've never seen before. But when it is orchestrated like that it makes a mockery of the game.
