Seems more plausible than an athlete actually creating a fake account. But obviously no way to prove this, so all the bashing is warranted as this point.

I don't know what happened, but this explanation is way more plausible than KD creating a fake handle to defend himself. I just can't imagine anyone in his position stopping to that level.

Let's be honest, in some capacity most of us would hate to be hated by another individual, let alone an entire state and probably hundreds of thousands of fans nationwide, if not more. If he did what he did, I agree it's a bitch move, but ultimately I understand it. He's gotten far more scrutiny over his decision to leave than he should have received.

At the end of the day, athletes are still individuals.
