For whatever reason there were people high on Glennon. He was also a free agent so there was no need to trade or use a draft pick. I don't see it myself but I don't see Kaep making a meaningful difference in most places. No one really uses that offense anymore and will he be able to stay healthy? Was he a product of Harbaugh? Keaperdouche isn't gonna win significant games on anyone's roster and he wants more than the league min. which is all he's worth.

After the read option and pistol formation got sniffed out by the NFL he was useless. Harbaugh would prob. have two Super Bowls if he'd just stuck with Alex Smith who actually does progress through options and has far superior pocket presence than Kaepernick. Realize Smith got injured but he was back in time for the Ravens Super Bowl loss and I think Smith would've been way more effective against Seattle.

Colin was basically a second coming of Vince Young but initially was in a FAR more dominant system than Tennessee at the time. Once Jed 'the douche' Yoork got rid of one of the best QB minded coach and blew up the team Kaepernick was exposed and the NFL took note of how irrelevant he is.

Add to that he's a giant media attention whore, it's just a big distraction for the teams. Everyone saying NFL owners are racist is the reason everyone should be forced to get a permit/license to breed.

They are avoiding distractions and avoiding the loss of fans. It's their money, they can do what they want. He could definitely start in the NFL.

He has every right to state his opinion, but his method was flawed. The national anthem is about the military to so many people. He can say it isn't about the troops until he blue in the face, thats what people equate it with. Also, the only conversation it started was about Colin Kaepernick. I think if he could admit it was a mistake (the method, not his beliefs) and find another way to bring light to his cause it would get him back in the NFL.
