If anyone's interested in my review: Horror Movies

Absolutely loved it. Probably one of the best adaptations of a Stephen King novel that I've ever seen. Worth every damn penny to see it in the theaters.

Why see it in theaters when you can see the original made for television movie for free.

Casting the adults is going to be very important so that Part 2 lives up to 1. Even in the '90 series the part with the kids was so much better than that with the adults. The personalities need to be consistent while having evolved after 30 years apart. I'll be very interested to hear how this process goes.

Finally saw this. I was surprised at how much I liked it. The clown was scarier and less "playful" than the Tim Curry version. It was also a great choice to make this move only about the kids.

No way in hell is Bale right for that kid. But Pratt is PERFECT. He actually has a fat past, so it is believable.

And, what's Joseph Gordon Levitt pull in per film these days?

Spoiler: Spoiler if you're not familiar with the story.

Whatever it is, probably not worth it for a character who dies in probably the first half hour.

I'd rather they go with talented lesser known actors for the most part. Too much star power and all you see is Brad Pitt or Chris Pratt instead of the character.

You're right...Richie was the comedian.

Anyone else think it was pretty lame? Bunch of annoying jump scares and the clown somehow didn't have the Tim Curry magic that actually made it seem really terrifying. Curry's clown really creeped me out because he made it seem like such a joke. Somehow the laughing plus facial expressions was just beyond creepy.

The new clown in IT made it seem hysterical. Anyway, I was laughing my ass off the entire movie.
