Since June 4th, Berrios' ERA has increased from 2.76 to 3.86.

Since June 1st, Santana's ERA has increased from 1.75 to 3.27.
It was merely an example of why we can't just look at the team ERAs of the opponents and assume they faced cupcake pitching.

Meh. The 1927 Fraudkees. Why does everyone make such a big deal out of them. They didn't have a balanced attack at all. It was all Ruth and Gehrig. They went nuts that year. Crazier than even for them. Combs and Lazzeri were pretty good too. But there were weak spots in their lineup. I think the most interesting thing about that team is that, in 1927, they had a 5-man rotation and a relief pitcher who won 19 games.
This is true, but it's still nice to have two of the greatest hitters hitting back to back in your lineup. The Astros have had only two hitters with an OPS+ south of 100 (Aoki and Beltran), and they're no lower than 94. They have four of the top 10 hitters (OPS+ wise, though Gonzalez falls just short of qualifying for the batting title) in the AL (Gonzalez, Altuve, Springer, Correa).

It is only two because those just happened to be the only two I looked at. And it was the first two games. Santana had a 2.99 ERA going into the game against the Astros and Berrios had a 3.53 ERA going into the game.

Well, you should have looked at those two closer because they didn't help your case.

They've got a combined ERA of 4.55 in the second half and the Astros didn't do too much against them anyway.

The point is, on the season, the Astros have faced ridiculously simple pitching and since the ASB it's been even worse.

Immaterial differences...he's just swinging and missing more because he started to believe his own hype, and is also gay

Can't argue with that.

They certainly beat up on Berrios. And my "case" isn't to try to defend the Astros. I'm saying that we would have to take a closer look at the pitching in order to definitively say if they have faced cupcake pitching. It could very well turn out that you are correct, and they have. But without all the information, I'm not willing to say one way or the other.

Bro...what happened to your mighty pimp-hand? You sit that woman down and tell her "no more visits from Hu and Dirt until we get that Lexus"

That's fine. I've clearly looked at it more closely than you have and I'm presenting the information for your edification.

You don't have to buy it because I'm not selling it.

Bad example.
Well if you are going to weigh the individuals second half numbers more heavily, shouldn't you weigh the team's second half numbers as well? Yet you posted their overall numbers. Like I said, you very well could be correct.

It's not like the Indians are facing the toughest pitching either. Three of the bottom 10 ERAs belong to AL Central teams (Twins, White Sox, Tigers).

Yeah, but the Twins have Santana and Berrios.

So what was the combined ERA of every pitcher the Astros have faced up to the games against Houston?

LOL

well, i had her go for a ride with me in it. she didnt like the ride feel. she also said "you're not 70, why get a 70 year olds car?"

plus, after a better look, the paint needs to be redone.
