Garrett is always talking his "right kinda guy" bull shit -- which he is rightfully catching flack for in the media these days -- and it really just seems like a bunch of horse shit the past couple seasons.

Lucky was not only caught stealing, but he was lucky enough to fly under the radar until he had court, which he failed to appear for. That is anything but the "right kinda guy".

Garrett needs to cut this guy, otherwise he needs to shut the fuck up about his "RKG" crap. But he won't because Lucky missed court going on three weeks ago, and I'm sure this has already blown over at the Star. And wouldn't you know it, Garrett was spewing his "RKG" bullshit at his most recent presser when asked about Elliott. Like the guy who wants to piss on you and tell you it's raining, it's becoming insulting he keeps on with this line.

I'm so tired of the lip service. I wish people would just call things what they are. If we're going to have a team full of minor criminals and delinquents, fine, but at least don't spend every opportunity you get (Jason) telling me how high the character of your football team is.

Reports coming out he's wasn't in the area at the time.
If true, in a odd way this is better for Lucky. He's now a FA able to sign with another team. I think he was a Longshot to make this team.

Have to imagine there is video to either support or refute Lucky's claim that he was there or not. Video from the store that he allegedly shoplifted from? Dash cam, body cam (if in use) video from the cops during the arrest?

And if it wasn't Lucky, why not show up for court and make your case? I could be wrong but, that's the kind of stuff you get certified mail for, seems hard to claim total ignorance of the situation.

Again, I could be wrong, but I think they send the mail anyway. Redundancy, so people can't claim ignorance.

Certainly possible. Possible it was someone else. It's also possible that Lucky's airline ticket was never used, and it's a convenient defense (I don't know the details). I have to imagine the Cowboys have more info than us, and made what they felt was an appropriate decision. Lucky was an easy target anyway, he wasn't likely to survive training camp if you listen to all the Switzer ball washing going on.

Garrett on Lucky. Still a little bit of a hypocrite. The message shouldn't be different for guys you are going to cut soon anyway if you want to be all high and mighty. Obviously we all know the deal, but just don't pretend there aren't two sets of rules.
