Crowder is a stiff that would make a nice bench player for some team. He seems to have a good shooting percentage but is one of those guys that always seems to miss when the game is on the line. Won't be sad to see him go.

They've dumped 2 white guys -- and only brought one in. Miami would have had to dump 3 black guys to bring in Hayward.

I'd've preferred to move Crowder due to position redunancy with Hayward/Tatum/Brown and Bradley being their best on the ball defender (plus it probably means more playing time for Rozier now *barf*), but with the Hayward signing they weren't going to be able to keep him after this year, anyway, so getting a replacement for Amir and clearing the space for Hayward seems like a pretty solid move.

May not be a need, after this Bradley deal... I think Ainge and the C's were just exploring all options... the sign-and-trade scenario with Utah never made great sense from the C's point-of-view anyways, not unless Utah would be able to sweeten the pot...

... whether you agree with it or not, Crowder is seen as a solid player in this league... add in his phenomenal contract... and he is a nice asset for any team, not something you throw away casually.
