Actually, I do think that question was asked of him after the SM firing. He basically said he loves it here, blah, blah, blah. It was a politically correct answer. But he also followed it up with he wants to be where he is wanted. Hence to external push by every member of the FO to say how much they want to sign KC long term. Yet no offer.......actions speak louder than words

I think he wants what guys like Dak, Brees, Mariotta, and Fuck Wentz have. An ownership willing to really commit and maybe, just maybe a fan base thats behind him some what as much as they seemed to be behind wonder bob.

Got to think they while he might not openly show it, its got to piss him off just a little bit to have to constantly ask... what the fuck do I need to do to get the kind of support other starting QBs get from their front office and fan base??

Which is also why I think, if he plays on the tag, we see more improvement... then he tells Dan to suck a short one and he wants out.

I will say this, while none of us make Millions for playing a game (that I know of), If any one here can say they have never left a job that paid well for no other reason than the boss was a complete tool, I would have to ask.. are you 20 or just full of shit.

i absolve KC of any wrong doing at all no matter what happens

IM going to barrow a line from @deanpet21

You know what I find funny and I might LMAO??

1 year ago Dan and Bruce didnt even want to talk to Kirk about an extension unless it was on the cheap.

Now, the entire front office is on the I love Kirk media blitz and just hoping they can get him signed for less that a metric shit ton of cash.

Now that right there... is funny I dont care who you are. :D

Little too early to be talking about commitment by ownership to Wentz, Dak and MM. Lets give it another year or two. Far as Brees goes. The Saints have been absolutely horrible when it comes to acquiring defensive talent. Hell, even with a half-ass decent defense. I think the Saints might have an couple more SB trophies on the mantle over the last decade or so.

Far as the fan-base goes. I'll only speak for myself. I'm behind Cuz. Way more than I ever was behind Griffin. I was off the Griff bandwagon before he played a game in his 2nd year. Fuck Griffin. That said.....

Despite the QB woes the Skins have had pretty much ever since Joe Gibbs stepped down the 1st time. I can't go all in on a QB who just because he has shown himself to be a capable, competent, even pretty good and at times great QB, but may have a death blow fundamental flaw.

You dont have to be all in on Cousins to see that moving away from him now is likely to put us back on a collision course with sexy moves that long term hurt like fuck.

I totally admit, if i thought we were going to suck ass this year.. hell i might even be on the Darnold train. But I shudder at the thought that Krik plays on the tag, we finish 8-8 and then we take it like a 14th St rental in the trade up to get Darnold/Rosen or who ever else. Because I really dont think Dan settles for the 4th rated QB in the draft.

In a sense I want Kirk to just bolt already. Just want them, the people who makes the decisions, to get the inevitable done, and over with. Lets get this embarrassment of yet another blunder done and over with. The sooner we can start the inevitable of losing a pretty damn good QB the sooner we as a fan base can begin the healing process regarding father time. Let this just go into another top ten list of some ESPN category, and lets move on. The sooner we get KC out of here (the inevitable) the sooner we can get thru all the smack talk, and all the post of other fan bases at our expense. Example: We don't hear to much about Hayneworth anymore. Just an occasional sting with an airing of top ten worst FA signings on a sports channel. Or an occasional slam back from another fan base on the forums. So the sooner Kirk leaves the sooner we can begin to heal from yet another embarrassing stinger.

Get yourself some cheese the next time to go with that whine. I hear Munster goes hand in hand with extreme butt-hurt.

He does kind of have a point Breed.

We are at the fish or cut bait point with the Cousins thing. We are currently the only team out of 32 where the QB situation is THE elephant in the room and we are what six weeks from training camp? It would be better from a team stand point if they knew there was an open competition, we had Kirk signed long term, or if the plan is to move away from Kirk. This now going on three years of well what are we actually doing at QB is a team distraction to a degree.

So they either need to sign him, or come out and say well we are going to just stick wit the tag. This we got options, and we really like Kirk BUTTTT is just a distraction when it comes to the team at this point.

Is Snyder an idiot on issues related to running a professional football team? Yep, no question. But is he a hopelessly, forever doomed to be a idiot on football related matters. Who would be foolish enough to indulge in another multiple picks for one pick trade for a college QB. Just a mere 5 years after that first debacle of a deal? He can't be that football stupid. He simply can't.

Holy shit, who is this optimist that has hacked into Breeds account. You do realize thats like saying a man who got busted diddling the secretary would NEVER do it again. Or the kid who got caught sneaking cookies should know better next time. Let Kirk play on the tag and Wentz up in Philly fuck around and have a good year.... you might have to drug Dan to keep him from trying to find a way to get a hold of Darnold in that situation.

I'd really like to believe this. But guys like Danny are used to getting their way. And they are not afraid t throw money (and other assets) at an issue time and again to get what they want.

Reading the 'I hope Kirk leaves cuz the Redskins don't deserve him.' yadda yadda yadda bullshit gets old. If people really feel like that. They should leave with the players as well and root for him at his new landing spot.

There is a difference between predicting the future and cheering for it.

If we go away from KC, every single person that supports KC here will be rooting for the new QB to lead this team to success. Not everybody that cheers and supports KC in this fiasco will be like the whiny RGME bitches.

1. The Redskins deserve the outcome however this plays out because to a degree they have been the driving force in getting us to this cliff.

2. I can understand the frustration level because while Kirk might not be elite, and might never become elite.... we could do a fuck ton worse. And its still coming down to the team for the most part has gotten us here.

3. Its ok to wish the best for the player if you have determined the team is the primary culprit in this cluster fuck. It dont mean you are wishing ill on the team. But some guys based on character and actions do make you pull for them as a player no matter where they end up.

Hey dipshit, I don't think anyone wants Kirk to leave. Anyone who wants a capable QB on the squad, that is. I just want the madness and the embarrassment that we live with daily,,, make that yearly,,of WTF do we do with this QB.. to end.. either way. Be it Kirk,,, here or there.

I never was fond of the circus growing up as you perhaps were. You obviously enjoyed the clown show of em all running around fumbling over each other while tooting each others horns. Well that's what you have here with this circus show known as the Snyder Brothers & Barnum and blowme show.

@Sharkinva

Its me, homey. I've just decided to stop going back n forth with the KC issue. I know how everyone feels for the most part on the subject and I think most know how I feel on the subject. I'd be lying if I said I don't have any emotions involved far as the KC situation goes and the tenor of some of my posts reveal that w/o question. That said, the concerns I have about KC are based in logic and I try not to stray too far from that. I want KC signed, happy and ready to have the best season of his career. Until shown otherwise though. I just don't think Kirk has been consistent enough to warrant anything over 70 mill. I also don't see Kirk signing any deals that are team friendly and I can't or don't blame him for that. The Redskins certainly could've handled this situation and others better than they did. I think Kirk plays on the 23 mill franchise tag this year feeling pretty good about the possibility that he will increase his value. And some things, like sign ing with Lil' Shanny in Frisco for instance. Will have a lot more clarity for him as well.

@j_y19

You're probably right. I hope we don't find out though.

Put it this way - If a clown like Jerry Jones can own a good team, so can Dan Snyder... after 20 plus tries.
