F### those kids, if god really loved them they'd already have parents and wouldn't need gay ones anyway.

Yes, because the commerce clause is being used as a bypass on the constitution.

Gay people = all the rights in the world.
Religious people = none and you must be forced to abide by their social values.

The hypocrisy is total bullshit. People need to learn how to quit trying to force their values on others.

Exactly. Many of these people screaming about tolerance are total fucking hypocrites. Just like the law they tried to pass that said a church could lose their clergy status if they refuse to marry a gay couple. Fuck you. They have a right to their beliefs just as you have the right to yours. You don't get to force a church to marry you. You're just as bad as the people you scream bigotry towards. Find one who will or go to the courthouse.

This thread sure looks like fun.

Any chance USC won't be able to host my Broncos? Cuz that'd be cool.

If you don't give enough of a shit about your opinion to properly express it, why the fuck should I?
I didn't know it was hard to for you to read and suss out the meaning

I could read a run on sentence a mile long with no punctuation spelling errors grammar mistakes and transitions from one topic to another that otherwise wouldnt go together and still make sense out of it its called being smart.

I have no problem with people being religious but I also have an issue with people not doing their jobs because of it.
You own your own business and do this that's your deal. If you take a job with government funding I don't see how you can then inact your religion.

People just need to learn how to let other people live, period.

I am fine with gay people getting married, it doesn't hurt my feelings at all. But to say you should be able to force a religious person to bake your wedding cake is bullshit. Just take your business somewhere else and stop crying.

It's freedom of choice.

Government = never allowed to discriminate for any reason ever.
Business/People = allowed to discriminate for any stupid reason they want.

So if Alabama passes a law that says "Gay people are never allowed to adopt", then that's not right. But if an Alabama adoption agency decides it doesn't want to serve gay people - that should be their right.

Sounds a lot like whites only restaurants, it was their right as a business according to you.

Yes, it should be. I'd rather put their racism out front, that way I don't go.

But if you think that was the problem during the civil rights movement, you'd be mistaken. See, the problem wasn't that businesses would choose this, it was that businesses were FORCED to do it, by law. And that is obviously fucked up.

But if some fucktard racist restraunt owner wants to discriminate, fine with me. It should be their right as a citizen, like it or not. But making laws that force segregation is an entirely different story.

When government does it, it's wrong and should be fixed immediately.

Yeah, and who cares if I don't want blacks or hispanics in my coffee shop or bike shop or auto repair and they should have separate bathrooms too. Lets make Merica great (white) again.

If it's your private business you have that right. Probably won't help your business thrive though. Point is, bigoted or not, you can't encroach on a private businesses right to run their business how they choose.

No one is denied their religious liberty. If they don't want to be gay parents they dont have to be. They shouldnt be able to stop gay parents from being gay parents to need religious freedom

They aren't stopping gay parents from being gay parents. If it was a law that did that, I would be against it and would say it's wrong.

That's like saying a store that is closed means you can't use the one that's open across the street and that the business is somehow forcing you to not go there.

Child adoption isn't like buying a TV

Doesn't matter. A private entity has the right to conduct themselves as they choose. Same as with the gay marriage thing. You shouldn't be able to force a church to marry you. Just got find one that will

Private business is regulated all the time. I have no issue with church not having to marry people of their choosing. There still are churches that refuse to perform interracial marriages

Really? I admit I've never tried to adopt a child, but I would have bet a large sum of money I could have went down to Kid-Mart and gotten one pretty cheap.

Well I can tell by the crowd I've inadvertantly made a political thread in the college football forum.
