Good being back. Can't hang long tho. Pretty weak.

Sorry to hear this! Hang with us when you can....as often as you can.

Out of all the guys who've come and gone from our organization. Where would you rate Cruz as the "one who got away"?

Pretry high on the list. I would put Pudge above him and if you consider ones who were traded away I would put Juando up there pretty high as well. Losing Raffy for 5 years was terrible. There have been a few pitchers I have hated seeing leave along the way as well.

Ahhh.....I'd put both Pudge & Juando more in the category of "it had to happen sometime" than they got away. Is this too picky of a point? ha ha Seriously, I didn't have any problem with either one of those guys moving on. And quite honestly, had Pudge not ever left the nest, he'd probably be ringless. So there's a silver lining.

Raffy I'd forgotten about. But very good guy to keep in this conversation for sure.

Shut it down guys. A five run inning deserves it.

I guess Ross was just bored pitching to minor league guys.

I think some would put Cruz in that same category as well. To me I hated losing all three at the time we lost them. I wish we would have done what it took to keep all of them.

According to mlbtraderumors.com.

Prior to designating Sam Dyson for assignment and trading him to the Giants, the Rangers also gave consideration to cutting right-hander Jeremy Jeffress loose, Heyman writes. However, Texas deemed Jeffress more likely to rebound from his struggles and kept him on the roster. I’d imagine that as was the case with Dyson, Jeffress would draw trade interest elsewhere based on his track record and 2016 success.
